Re: Flying from UK, postal items delivered to Reno mailbox?

I haven't mailed something to myself using USPS "General Delivery" in years, but I think it is still an option. You would pick it up at the Gerlach Post Office. It would not be delivered to the Playa The option of absolute last resort should be sending something to yourself (~edit. at the Gerlach P...

... Reading on exodus, I am starting to think that I messed up my timing... Well, you can look at some of last year. https://eplaya.burningman.org/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=82621 Exodus is generally getting better and better, very stable, but shit happens. You've got your time to drive/crawl through BRC...

All right... RhoadesCar it is. Stand by for PM. Elliot engaged! Seen a few trikes with a seat (with back) replacing the rear basket. Make sure you can balance/sit in it without a 'driver' on their seat. Something to put your feet on so you're not having to hold them up. With the 5 mph rule, the sea...

Bring cookie dough? Camp in the shade of something big? (Camping with someone with an RV?) That lists as 10'x10' and 6'6" high. If you can pull it off, you'll get much more sleepin time, and the ability to rest in it during the day. However, sunrise occurs North of East, with 8:00am sun high enough ...

Re: Flying from UK, postal items delivered to Reno mailbox?

Just to be clear, these two are not the same: USPS (United States Postal Service) and UPS (United Parcel Service) a commercial/retail shipper. Most online stores will not ship to you at a postal office or a post office box. (For a rental fee, some USPS offices have "address" boxes to get around this...

Best I could come up with for my BRC Sun- Rise/Hourly/Set Heading & Elevation map was: 2015: 40.8060136, -119.1542816 2016: 40.7842516, -119.2007847 2017: 40.7854981, -119.2064667 2018: 40.7839267, -119.2096253 - UNCONFIRMED (and, I didn't note the source... ) Due to the delta in elevation an...

I'm having trouble finding information on what that interaction with the DOT officer will look like. I'm sure they can make my life hell if they want to. Watch out for the ready made solenoid valves, popular in Arduino and Pi projects. They only work with a pressurized line; gravity feed has insufficient pressure.

Re: Evaporation System: Copper

Black ABS has been used to absorb solar heat for the pond. Some speculation about an ABS chimney on an ABS tank to heat up and circulate air in, up and out to aid evaporation, but as has been pointed out, surface area is king and no wind is rare. If you're willing to pump, then you can flow the flui...

Speculating, thoughts: Incision fully healed . ... your transportation page is set up just like Burner Express Bus. Can't have it both ways. Re: Cot vs. Blow-Up Mattress

I like a cot as then you and your bedding is above the wet if there's a lot of rain.
Depends on how water proof your tent flooring (still) is.

Or the right storage bins in a row with a sheet of ply across them, then your air mattress.

As above: ratchet straps for the ease of adjustment, high visibility rope to avoid the noise of straps vibrating in the wind, you'll need to hang stuff on it so people notice it If you're familiar with climbing rope, you should have no problem with securing it. If not, as above, the Trucker's Hitch....
