Is there an upvote on this thing? Thanks Dave X and Trilobyte.

Sign-ups are going well! I'm thrilled to see so many people who are interested to help out. Remember, no prior training is necessary! For those who are thinking about it but haven't decided yet, stop by Plug 'n Play on playa. Our Perimeter leads will be holding office hours from Monday through Thurs...

this. is. me. relaxing! ha! thanks for the input trilobyte. we are looking for anybody who is willing to help. we can train. the primary objective of the perimeter crew is to ensure people who are there to watch the burn have a good time. the time commitment is friday evening from 7pm until approxim...

FYI, the name of our installation, Plug 'n Play, is meant to be tongue-in-cheek.

hey, i've noticed that some people have clicked on this but no response. maybe it's just not your thing, that's cool.

i'm open to feedback about why this is/isn't appealing... basically, we need to recruit 200 people for our burn perimeter, so i would love any input to help get my approach right

Plug 'N Play is an art installation at Burning Man 2016, brought to you by D16orient and Plug4. http://plug4.com/ Plug 'n Play is a tribute to the essential power of hip-hop and its foundational elements: Emceeing (oral) • Deejaying (aural) • Breaking (physical) • Graffiti (visual) • Knowledge (spir...

what if... just kidding.

i really appreciate the responses and am looking forward to seeing you out there!

just out of curiosity, what if it has pedals AND a motor?

purplekoosh, i know i'm annoyin' ya... :D

hm, i guess maybe not you. i actually never met desert rat because we picked up the bikes at his house when he was not there and then returned them to the house too.

hey rat! went last year for the first time and had one of your bikes. i gave it black and yellow stripes to match our bee-themed camp. is it still around?

i know you guys are not very optimistic about my chances, but i emailed anyway...

oh hotties...

you will LOVE these bikes when you see them. it is my fault for not applying on time...

thanks -- will do! see ya on the playa.

my friend and i have wonderful, fabricated, welded, arty bikes that have 49cc motors on them. just met up with splinter at happy hour and found out they have to be registered. alas -- the deadline has passed! what can i do? will gladly send pictures.

thanks,
