Re: Looking Indigenous Campers

I am Native American. From the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe (also called the Ojibwe). That said, I do not know of a camp of Indigenous people. You might find one or two here and there. If I were you I would look for a camp that has what you are looking for and introduce yourself to the camp organizers. ...

Re: Seeking ride from Seattle to and from the playa

I got a lot, by the time you add in the tent, cot, large cooler, sleeping bags and other gear, it comes out to a lot. This is why I am asking for a truck (or a van would do). We also have bikes. I also need to mention that it is an option to buy a ticket and we are seeing if we can transfer it to so...

Seeking ride from Seattle to and from the playa

We are two people looking for a ride to and from the playa. We live in Seattle. We might have a ticket for you (depends on if he can transfer it). You would need a truck and a WAP. We don't smoke and have had all our shots (joke, but after the pandemic it doesn't sound like a joke). We can listen to...

Need ride to and from BRC from Seattle

My cousin and I are seeking a ride to and from BRC from Seattle. This is his 6th burn and my 9th burn. We are able to leave as early as August 23rd, and come back as late as September 4th. We both have drivers licenses so we can help drive. Prefer a minivan or truck (or trailer). We are good people ...

Re: Chef / cook ready to join theme camp / communal kitchen

If you come over to Polyparadise, you need only cook one meal and then eat on a meal plan the rest of the week. Each person or group needs to cook one meal for 25 people and we have three to four people cooking at each meal. Cook once and eat the rest of the week.

Re: Are you driving from the Pacific Northwest to TTITD??

I love Eagle's Nest. It is a great place to rest and take a shower. It is also great to have a place to stay before making the final part of the journey.

Re: Nudist Fun Poly Couple looking to Burn

Polyparadise also has the Human Carcass Wash if you are in need of a bath--and don't mind people touching you while they are bathing you (they do ask for your boundaries).

Ride needed from Seattle to the burn and back

This will be my sixth year attending Burning Man. I am excited to be going back. I have my ticket and all I need is a ride to the burn and back to Seattle. My usual ride is not going this year, so I am in need of a new ride. I am hoping you have a truck or a van since I have several large plastic bi...

Re: Low Income + STEP Program.

My cousin received his email two days ago and he did not get a ticket. Interesting since he has been unemployed because he was taking care of his mother.

He applied the third day applications were open.

Re: Low Income + STEP Program.

WTF? I sent an email to BMorg because it had been 8 weeks. I got an email back stating that they are JUST NOW reviewing my application. I applied within the first hour of applications being opened and they are only now going through my application?!?!?!??!? EIGHT WEEKS LATER!

Re: Low Income + STEP Program.

I did bother them. I just had to know. The reply I got back was: "Hi there, We understand you are anxious to hear back about the decision on your Low Income Ticket Application. Reviewing applications with the attention they deserve, evaluating each applicant’s financial documents and cross-checking ...

Ride to Burning Man and back from Seattle

My cousin and I need to get to and back from Burning Man. We are virgin burners and very excited! We have the usual stuff: shelter, shade canopy, a couple of coolers, some personal bags, and water jugs. Best of all--we have cash to help pay for gas!!!  We are both licensed drivers if ...
