Pumpkin beer in Reno?

We are after a pumpkin beer in Reno, and we're not really sure where we should go - anyone have any suggestions? We've tried Walmart and Costco, and would like to go to an actual liquor store, but we're not sure what the best options are. Unfortunately, pumpkin beer seems a bit rare.

We are already on the road, and all is well so far! Will be finalizing the grocery list today while we lounge around in a hot tub, which in my opinion is the best way to finalize lists of anything.

Re: One item for BMan 2014 a day

Packed the vehicle today, as we leave tomorrow. And there was extra room! And an empty Rubbermaid! This is the best.

Taking out the seats was the best decision ever.

Re: One item for BMan 2014 a day

Packed most of the clothing!

Tossed the heavy bulky stuff into the vehicle - and since we've taken the seats out, we have SO MUCH SPACE (which I promise not to squander).

SO. MUCH. SPACE.

Close! Instead, I observed while the boy tried on his new skivvies that he bought today. They are wonderful.

TPBM doesn't intend to wear any skivvies at the event.

Whittling down the pile of ALL THE THINGS into MOSTLY THE THINGS THAT WE NEED, and going through the packing lists.

Debating unbolting the second-row seats from our vehicle - they don't fold all that flat in a Sorento, unfortunately.

Re: Personal light AND bike light?

You're going to be getting off your bike a lot. The places you'll be doing so offering sufficient bike stands are the minority, rendering your bike an invisible hazard for anyone/thing passing by there until it's too late. At least half of planning for a successful Burn includes thinking of how to ...

Re: Cooler and ice management and you.

Thank you for this post - nice to see everything gathered together! We've had success with the Ziploc plastic containers as well - stick cheese, etc, into the containers, and then set them on top of the ice. I don't trust them submerged, though. I think we'll be Ziploc'ing all our ice this year - I ...

Some camps will not accept photo copied cards, as they are not legal id. Our camp doesn't for that same reason. Last week i went to the department of transportation and got an address change. Re: One item for BMan 2014 a day

We spent the weekend doing a test setup of our camp at my parent's farm. I'm really glad we did it - took two or three tries to figure out the best method of getting the canopy onto the carport. Also confirmed that the solar + 12v battery setup works, and added some more wire onto it so that we can ...

Re: Still haven't gotten your tickets?

It sounds like the Burning Man ticket was resolved after your last call to Ticketfly (if I'm understanding the timeline properly) - when you call them on Monday, it could be all sorted out. Agreed. However, not telling him is not a very deft way of dealing with the human/customer part of the equati...

Re: Still haven't gotten your tickets?

Have you called Ticketfly support? That seems to have had the best luck for everyone so far. I called them Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Ticketfly's answer is they are waiting on burningman ticket support to get back to them with an answer. So Monday I will create 10 open inquiries with burningman ...

I still regret not getting out of the tent during the rain in 2012. Would like to avoid a thunderstorm, though.

Re: One item for BMan 2014 a day

Did a test pack of the new (to us) vehicle for Burning Man. We have the space to do it - but there's not enough space for bigger things as I anticipated, and a lot more little weird nooks and crannies to shove things into. So we'll be reworking that a bit, or investing in a roofrack, or both.
