I have to second what Motsky said...it was a fantastically successful camp, particularly so when one considers that it took two months to organize. We had more than 50 campers, everyone got along famously, there was no drama, there were no bad attitudes. As far as I'm concerned it was all love. Amaz...

Prevention: Spray those little tootsies each morning with a solution of vinegar water (you can add some essential oil to it to make for a nicer smell - rose or lavender are both very nice). Using a spray bottle kills the problem of having too much grey water, and whatever's there you can drip into y...

This was the first year that I was able to screw up the courage to go to the Carcass Wash and acutally participate. Last year, I had my head washed, and my hands, but I stopped there. This year, aided by the company of many of my campmates, I went through the whole process and loved it. It was intim...

A notable virgin in Stag Camp spent her time before the burn reading everything she could online and compiling her own W/W/W. She showed up on the Playa like a bad ass because she spent a little extra time researching the events/camps lists before leaving her hometown. Fuck the W/W/W. "DIY is t...

I've had a couple of experiences with art cars on both ends of the spectrum. Last year, all of my camp liquor was donated to an art car with the promise of a ride to the Burn. The liquor was hijacked and my campmates and I were left standing in the dust after the art car driver ditched us. This year...

This was my 5th burn and without a doubt was definitely my best. I had such a tough time last year that I was thinking that I was going to bag it, but there was magic this year. I'm sure that those who say 'it's not the burn, it's you' are totally correct. I adjusted my approach and had an unbelieva...

It will, in fact, be a brilliant design. And probably also be a hover scooter, capable of light speed. For those that don't know, Motsky is receiving mental transmissions from another planet concerning new technology. I'm convinced.

Wow...it sounds like you all had a fairly mundane year. I think the words I heard most, in this order, were: "Hey. Come over here. Can you smell this for me? No, the other hole. Does that smell like almonds to you? Is that bad? Taste it a little. Yeah, that's what I thought. Here's some antisep...

I'm working a stencil. The Virgin Burners tribe seems to have gotten ahold of my brainwaves, though, and nabbed my idea. Wow, Red...the theme camp placement is HARD to read. Cripes. We'll be ok, though. I remain confident. If we need to, we can skinny up the frontage and build back into the block...I'll throw another blueprint idea up here and on the tribe.
