I thought he said his friends had left. Doesn't that mean he was *already* camped somewhere, and was now giving that spot up? If it was Thursday, where was he before then?

Has anyone realized that, no matter what the date, there will be people who cannot attend? What about the students who have summer jobs that they quit in order to attend BM, only losing a week of work? How will they be able to go if they must work for the bulk of the summer?

IMO, the move away from this is what stands the greatest chance of seriously damaging the event as it affects some of the other "core values." Tying in what Ivy had to say; after s...

My 2 cents, There needs to be an accurate way of tracking unread posts. I am missing stuff because of the new BB, and I don't like it. There is road work going on near me, and there is one of those signs advising of delays, etc. nearby. That has me thinking about whether the keyboard for entering the message is integral to the unit, as it would be kinda fun to add "FUCK YOUR DAY" as the last message.

Vastly more important to me than Christmas (which I've always abhorred for its unreasonable expectations) is the winter solstice. Yikes, Tom. I am starting to find out we are way too similar. I confess to swearing off beef and other cow parts. This is after hearing a rancher up here in Canada say that he would shoot and bury any cattle with BSE, rather than report to the proper authorities. This is because it would be too costly and disruptive to his business. Well, fuck his day! This is...
