Re: The Burner's Guide To Leaving No Trace
Hey Oldguy, Horray! I'm so glad to hear you FINALLY got your ticket confirmation. I was recently talking to someone else who had been awarded a low income ticket and she wasn't sure she could use it, and knew she should return it sooner for someone else to use if she couldn't. So...probably it came ...

Re: The Burner's Guide To Leaving No Trace
I had another thought, Oldguy...did your credit card get billed? I hope so. If your's did not...you probably don't have any ticket.

Re: The Burner's Guide To Leaving No Trace
Hey Oldguy, Thanks for your comment. Yeah...it's not that I need the Survival Guide so much, as I'm just concerned that I haven't received something that I thought all ticket holders were being sent. To clarify my confirmation...it is the email I received upon purchasing my tickets after I received ...

Re: The Burner's Guide To Leaving No Trace
Has anyone who has tickets at will call received their Survival Guide yet? I'm getting nervous...though I do have my will call confirmation. My understanding is that anyone who has bought a ticket gets a mailed survival guide...anyone know anything different? Thanks for any info!

Re: Greetings from an insecure nerd
Nicely put Lazerfox! Sometimes it's hard for me not to interfer, when it actually is real children with inattentive parents...but when it's adults, I just have to close my eyes or cover my ears. See, me, I am the type who looks for a camcorder... I could use some of your attitude...I'll work on tha...

Another rule following nerd here raising her hand. I think we help to balance the awesome non-rule follower crowd and help to get them out of trouble in times of need  We should be so lucky. The "Safety Third" crowd has no intention of being interfered with. I made all attempts to not run int...

Re: Shit you need to know...
Never break more than one law at a time. For example, if you are transporting an illegal substance, be sure your brake lights work. Yep! Or be sure to change your burned out head light before you leave for Burning Man...or at least shut the door after you get out of the car...I got VERY lucky with ...

http://www.hi-tcatering.com/images/cheese_platter.jpg *looking for servers* Yummy! I'll do the honors of passing this around. I'll also add some wine, red now that chilly weather has set in, so we can toast our lovely and brave Jax and wish her well. However, someone is going to have to pry the bot...

Re: Welcome to reality
The BCC special you mentioned Trilobyte sounds interesting. I love that kind of stuff. I agree, one size (diet) does not fit all. Not quite as simplified as the Paleo diet is the Blood-Type diet. I thought that sounded hokey until several of my family and friends read about it and discovered that fo...

Re: Greetings from an insecure nerd
Thanks Figfam. Guidelines, rules, laws...makes no difference to me...I gotta follow them...can't help it. This compusion of mine came in handy last year, during BM 2010. I did one shift as a greeter...signed up too late to do more. I love passing along to others information...and of course all the "...

We may be kindred spirits Savannah...I can't help from absorbing other's energies as well (hated having lots of roommates in my early years...too emotionally exhausting for non-invested relationships)...and my courage is roughfully proportional to my consumption of champagne or any other lubricant (...

Greetings from an insecure nerd
I have a problem with rules...that is...I am compelled to follow them. When I was in school I always thought that I had to turn a paper in by the deadline...I was confused by people who turned things in late. Thank goodness for BM...take away (most of) the rules, and I'm FREE! Perhaps I'm not alone ...

Hello Everyone. I figured it was time I apply some good manners and properly introduce myself. I've been on eplaya for a while  , posting only on very rare occasions when I thought I'd burst if I didn't comment. I think I hadn't logged on for 6 months are so until just before this year's burn....

Re: PSA announcement/friendly reminder
Maybe we should all make capes for our shirtcocking neighbors, then they could let the little guy hang free, and still keep the sun off their shoulders too. They'd be Super-Cockers! Much better. Those with capes or sarongs around their shoulders have also been dubbed "Cape Cockers"! I have one dear...
