I also have not got a confirmation mail - little nervous over here. Have triple checked spam, promotions, trash etc.

Mailed support but haven't heard back :\

Success! Keep trying

Nothing here either. Not sure if it's a server issue? The button literally does nothing when clicked.

So I'm gathering this isn't much of an issue for many others, but for those of us who have to save diligently for this event, does this mean I need to keep $300-$400 in my account at all times while waiting for my name to *maybe* come up? Also, will there be any warning before this money is withdraw...

Theme announcement is coming very soon.

Last night I had a dream that the new theme was Alien Invasion. I'm still pretty stoked on it...

As we drove to BMan on I-80, we saw a large, a very large, dirigible or blimp hovering over the test grounds/air facility in the Utah west desert at sunset. Genius has pictures of it. Not moving, and capable of moving in the ways the red light thingy did. Would be why I thought dirigible/blimp init...

Sounds delicious! Come back, I'm totally coming over for dinner next year.

I LOVE this costume!!! Again, I will gladly donate to a costume reconstruction fund... I'm sure others would readily donate as well. I wish I had seen something.

I was at the Hokey Pokey camp with a friend while he was givien a 6-year sobriety award. Good for your friend! :) A friend of our camp found a child's sleeping bag that was printed like a green monster (the sleeping bag opening was a big mouth with teeth) at some thrift store, she cut leg holes in ...

Wow, you did a GREAT job with this! It brought me right back to Metropolis... I love the way it is organized, it really captures the mellow transition into BRC and the build-up to the burn, and I love the end... it's so primal!

Loved it!!

So I've been scouring the internet for more information about this thing, and it's all over UFO forums and shit like that. There's really no feasible explanation that I can find, but certainly a lot of sightings, mostly in rural areas of CA, NV, AZ, BC Canada and Bulgaria... Kinda frustrating, I'm n...

Hm. I remember reading somewhere (and I don't remember where, so I'm not sure how much credence to give it) that once one person stands up and helps, the others all will, too. I wish I remembered more. It just takes a leader... It has to do with initiative in groups. I remember a study where partic...

I am SO sorry!!! Ugh what a douchebag!!! It sounds like you worked really hard on your costume and it absolutely breaks my heart that anybody would do something like that. I wish I could help more with identification, I've never seen anything like that happen outside of the Thunderdome... I hope you...

...at the Period Bar. I meant to make it out to dinner here at some point, but just didn't get around to it... very curious... what was being served?

I believe it was on Saturday afternoon.

I was walking around on the second level of the center spire when I saw a white butterfly flying around. A couple people saw it before it flew away. It was absolutely too perfect. Surely somebody let it go there? Did anybody else see it?

Real burners check burningman.com five times a day for the new theme... or wait, that's OCD control freak burners like me actually.

I agree with some other posters that it should have been way out there, though I did live in the area and coming home to a giant retro motel sign right next to the popcorn palace was pretty adorable... Anyways... kind of a harsh post, a lot of people worked really hard to make it happen. http://epla...

I wonder how many people that buy tickets have any clue that there even ARE principles? I know for sure many (If not most) don't even bother to read the first timer's guide/survival guide. Maybe their should be a test that needs to be taken and passed in order to even get into the cue to buy ticket...

I recommend a Theme Camp called MOOP Nazis. Simple mission - pick-up MOOP - identify offenders and shame them. Discuss. I love this idea... I have actually started to think about an art piece that eats moop or something, but that's an idea that needs some perfecting because I'm sure it would be abu...

MooseJoose: +1 All you long winded (posting) lovefest people are giving me an invite to raise as much hell as I can at the temple burn. I'm a real heartless prick.. When it comes to whiner here.. I said it before.. If you want to control "your" temple burn.. Build your own and burn it your.. But ge...

I see both sides here as well. If they are really causing a problem, the best solution is to rearrange vehicles (in my experience). We ended up with a lot of extra space in our theme camp allottment this year, so we sort of carved out a shortcut for passers-by between Divorce and Engagement. Neighbo...

I have a story about a god-forsaken event in southern California called Coachella. Coachella is a music festival in Idio, CA. If you go for the "music," you're in the minority. If you go to take pictures of yourself in feather-clad ultra-hipster clothes next to a few contrived art pieces questionabl...

Thanks for those DOTA! We could see them from our camp all week. There's no good morning like a flying shark/whale!

I like my life, I am a happy person, but whenever I return from the playa, I am just sad for a while. This year I am especially haunted by the temple and its burn. I miss the playa and all its people. Sometimes I feel like I just start to feel at home, and then it's over. Life imitates art, I suppos...

Amazing feedback you guys! Thanks! Glad we're not nuts. I think this warrants some investigating. I'll return if I find anything worth sharing... who knows.

Hi guys, just curious as to whether or not anyone else noticed an aircraft (or something) with a bright red light drifting around before the temple burn. It seemed to be about the same altitude as an aircraft, but it had no other lights and we could not make out a defined shape, we could only see th...

out of curiosity, when has leaving at noon on monday been a decent time to leave in years past? i've always left around dawn on monday and still waited at least 2-3 hours. 9 hours is a little much of course, but my understanding is that it has usually a been 6-7 hour wait if you plan on leaving midd...
