I have a decent digital camera. I'd love to bring it rather than get a disposable and the advice here is very good. I'm leaning towards bringing it and keeping it in a plastic bag when not in use. If anyone else has camera survival stories,, please share!

Does anyone have any advice on what kind of shade structure to get for a single tent and any good low cost options and where to find them?

I'm glad there are people like you out there, Sensei. We'd love to bring extra water, but if it comes down to squeezing me in, sacrifices may have to be made, unfortunately.

OK, maybe 60 is a bit much- but everywhere I read it says don't underestimate your water needs. We'll be there for probably 7 days. We also have a shower at camp. Maybe 50 is a better total?
