I'm coming home. I have to say, that was the smoothest ticket experience in the last 4 years.

Re: Shades, stuctures and desert dwellings to rely upon
Thanks Trilo.
I bought the 10' 1"EMT pipes. I needed a bit of guidance on the clearance of the roof being my tent was tall.
Is it safe to say I should cut it to 7'8"?

Re: Shades, stuctures and desert dwellings to rely upon
I was hoping someone can help me. I plan on making a 10 x 10 flat shade canopy as the pic attached. My tent is 6 ft tall and the area is 9 x 9. What height should I make make the canopy? Also, based on the height, what length would be ideal if I tie the walls at an angle? Any help would greatly be a...

Re: Burning Man 1st timer needs advice on DJ equipment
We bring our equipment every year. 2 X Mackies, 2 X CDJ800 and a Rane Mixer. Everything is hooked up to a gas generator and we setup under a shade tent. I highly recommend to use shade b/c the sun can overheat the speakers/equipment. Plus, much more comfortable to dj. We also lock up the cdjs and mi...

Re: HexaYurts
We have a two room Yurt. (maybe three rooms this year.) and the back room is totally sealed and air conditioned. It is literally dust free and acts as the bedroom. We undress in the front room before entering the bedroom. The front stays pretty cool with the residual from the bedroom AC, plus we do...

I'm going ahead with the Sunshade. Bought some tough paracord to tie that sucker down. I also have all-weather blankets from last year to use as walls for the shade. As you said, something is better than nothing. Thanks.

Re: Simple Morning Shade for Small Backpacking Tent
Thanks for your input and help Hoolie. Like you said, those tarps are for smaller tents and pretty much won't cut it for my size tent. Someone else on here recommended the Kelty Sunshade. I'll contemplating that one. If not, Im shit out of luck and will basically use my minivan as some type of shade...

Re: Simple Morning Shade for Small Backpacking Tent
I've been contemplating on what type of shade structure I could use that is easy to travel with and something I can use again in the future. I read on here that some people have used the Kelty Noah. I'm thinking about buying the 12x12 model being my tent is 9x9 and 6ft tall. I really like this confi...

Re: EZ Up Canopies
I'm still contemplating on what do for a shade structure. Last year I used the emergency blankets and that really didn't cut it. This year I bought a Eureka Sunrise 9, which is 6ft tall and 9 x 9. I live in NYC, so a monkeyhut doesn't seem possible. Anyone know what I can use as a descent shade for ...

@Rocket_06 - misterdj's working on it with ticketing, that was kind of a major screwup.
