I have to disagree with getting a hotel room if you have more than 20 hours to drive home...

The hotel environment is way too sterile after spending a week in the Black Rock. Local campsites or rest-stops are preferable.

I got seriously burnt out bringing the BuddhaBus to the Playa in 2002. It was there this year, but as a stationary home/chill space for my friends who built Flight to Mars. Next year it will come back as something new and more amazing than the Mahayana.
