I'm only here because DaBomb posted a link and I can't tell you how happy I am that I'm not on staff anymore so that I'm not beholden to their rules and can step back and say: My GOD what a lot of whiny worms you all continue to be! If you are so damaged by what the org is doing to "your" community,...

My comment on this is to start small with something she needs and grow it from there as she expresses needs. Laptops can be equiped with lockdown cables for a small amount of money. If she is going to be in a facility rather than her home for some time, then perhaps that would make sense. It may be...

Hey everyone. I'm sorry to return here for such a sad reason. I got all my ranting out on my Tribe blog, so I'll just say that My heart is with her and I'm ready to help. I'll see what it takes to set up my PayPal for the Fishy Fund. I have to go into an afternoon's worth of meetings, will be home a...

Wow, everybody, thanks for sharing your stories, too. A couple more things... I was down to 3-5 cigarettes a day, max...and would go for days at a time without smoking. I'm beginning to think there is no such thing as moderation...the damage can still creep up on you. I started smoking at 14, and I ...

Personal Plea from Technopatra

Hey everybody- I know I haven't been involved with the Project for some time, but have been lurking on the Eplaya to passively keep in touch. Now I need to actively do so. You may or may not now that I've been really sick for the past several weeks. What started out as a cold became a bronchitis whi...

Scott's memorial service

This is xposted from elsewhere. I wanted to share my experience of the service with those of you who wanted to, but couldn't be there. Many thanks to Koosh, for allowing me to keep her company during the ceremony. And to the piper - you were wonderful. There is nothing so mournful as bagpipes. I bel...

The logo is copyrighted by a couple of members of the board. You are welcome to make whatever you want out of it as long as you are not selling your logo-fied items. That particular logo originated, I believe, among the Rangers. There is a slightly bigger one on their site http://rangers.burningman....
