I can't join the team because I'm booked that week. I sincerely hope you get a bunch of volunteers. In 2019 they didn't visit our camp. We had a great year and perfect moop record. We will sit under an umbrella waiting for the placer. Drink beer, giggle and then trade stories of what went on for the last 2 years. Set up camp and sleep so we can go to work the next day. (We get there a week early.) If we get our bikes put back together we'll ride out and see who's here.

Yeah, I took that tour. It is decorated very nicely. The only time I stay in Reno is coming or going from the burn. With no restaurant, no safe parking and limited amenities it's not on my 'must do' list. I need my own bathroom for long luxurious showers.

You should have a back-up plan. Maybe reservations in Reno? The roads may be closed. I'm guessing the playa will be closed to camping or even day visiting.
