2019 One Item A Day For Burning Man

This is the biggest and best ONE thing I have ever bought for burning Man. It's a 10 by 10 Tuff Shed. I have one wall of shelves up and all of my burner gear will fit on those. The other Three walls will be for other events. Labels are my friend.

Welcome. It's great to see you preparing early. Be sure and read info on the burning Man website. It will answer many questions. (Like what to do with your trash.) Your best plan for gray water is don't produce much. You won't need the tanks pumped out. Good luck. Anticipation is half the fun.

Hey Doc, It's good to hear your voice. (In my head.) This is the traditional time of year that the 'wingnuts' come out with new, insightful ticket ideas. Sometimes they've been to one event and it's their first post on ePlaya. This year Marion has prompted lively discussions all across the internet.

Tiger Man is a placed camp of 4 with one fluid space. We install foam and fur on your bike seat so you can enjoy your ride. (Lots of sore butts out there.) So far everyone loves us including the placement team.

I love to hear people's opinions. Once they start guessing, (at anything. Not just numbers.) I lose interest fast. It's like someone telling you about last nights dream. Hypotheticals lose me even quicker. Speculation based on hard facts is sometimes interesting. Just an observation I've made about ...

And last year we saw a good live band killing it down on the Esplanade, seemed to have a real draw. The singer humble brags how wild it was for the band to show up the night before on playa, and after this single show they have to rush off playa that very night to go play other exotic locations. An...

Re: Bungee ball alternative?

DriKnow, I agree on how to do the bungies and that I'll never want to thread anything through the grommets again. When you first get your tarp the grommets are spaced so far apart. I like to add more so my tarp fits tightly on the frame. Twice as many holes to thread. (Back off jokers. That one is t...

Re: Bungee ball alternative?

Also taking it down isn't too bad because you just pull them out instead of having to go to each and every one of those bungees and disconnecting them and then gathering them up later, bundling them etc. badger, I just made a bunch of work aprons just for that job. Two giant gaping pockets to hold ...

Boa-z please go to the Burning Man site and do your own research. Once there click on the event logo, then tickets. You will find last years info. This years ticket info has not been released. (And by the way, you haven't missed the pre-sale.) Do some research and you'll have as good a chance as any...

I think I'll set up an NDA booth this year. Stop by and fill out a form. Check all boxes that apply. Write any additional info in the space below. We can 100% guarantee that none of your indiscretions/sins will ever be made public.

stephanie your mind wanders in funny ways. That's a not-so-fine idea. You can buy Mario a ticket in the main sale. Designated tickets are a reward for a camps stellar participation last year. You can't give DGS tickets away to strangers as rewards. Someone in the camp will need it.

bBadger, Oh, and no, it's not "stealing" when the conditions are met for you to lose a deposit. It's a deposit, that's what it's for. It seems obvious that you understood the conditions -- conditions that were met because Playa Skool's plot of land did not receive a perfect MOOP score. So your $250 ...

XI. The musicians to have rest on the Sabbath Day, but the other six days and nights, none without special favour.
So I take this to mean they must entertain day and night Mon-Sat. It's great being a pirate.

XPTom, You're right. I shouldn't have mentioned the option of moving them out. (Unless the next step for bad behavior would be not being placed the following year.) I just don't think they warrant placement on the esplanade.

Ano, that is a carefully written letter. Nothing more. It's not a random opinion from placement. Why would anyone want to hide it? Last year they put a moratorium on outside service providers. No new ones were allowed. That is a step in the right direction. This year we've been informed not to contr...
