Yes. I bring a bin of them so my tutu-challenged campmates can play. TPBM is looking forward to hearing live orchestral works in the dust. I don't recall that at Slutgarden so I must have missed it. They had live performances but not of the musical variety. TPBM is still doing post burn cleaning &a...

Post Playa Report. (File this under TMI) I spent a lot of time wearing a kilt, sarongs, & leggings and found that I prefer None (No Undies). I did buy a fanny pack to preserve some of my dignity while wearing the leggings but man I wish I knew how comfortable leggings were before. They feel fant...

If there are going to be PnP camps, I want them to be very expensive and very exclusive. Otherwise, we'll end up with everyone and their mom showing up at "motel" PnP camps that are cheap and accommodate lots of people. That must not happen. Hey there, slow down BBadger. I can accommodate...

Re: Carport replacement poles

I don't think I'd count on those spring buttons to hold up in serious wind. I've had Costco 10x20s with those get blown apart in my back yard. My 10' x 20' carport was put through the test this year when a huge downburst/dust devil/mini-tornado hit us at 9:30 & Esplanade. The only thing that sa...

Set alarm to leave at 6:00 AM Monday. Packed up & it took about 1 hour to go from Esplanade to pavement. Noticing that it was unusually dark for 7:00 AM I realized that my phone never corrected for the 2 time zones I crossed. So 4:00 AM is a good time to leave I guess :-) I was surprised by how ...

The rebar caps are the most preferable to cover the sharp tops of rebar, but consider bright duct tape wrapped to cover the sharp edges as an option. It can be seen easily at night, and the razor sharp edges are covered. 8) I put solar landscape lights next to mine & I think I just found some f...
