Re: The basic problem with modern BRC

So there is no confusion or ambiguity, the remote, off the grid location of the Black Rock Desert makes this area absolutely ideal for police to train on the use of their Stingray monitoring devices. Note: Sham knows his phones. This is not hyperbole or a conspiracy theory. BRC is where LEO tests t...

Re: The basic problem with modern BRC

If we really want to bring BRC back to its roots, take it off playa. Now, you want to shatter the event, get rid of the Big Burn in Nevada & create a bunch of smaller Burns all over? You mean those insignificant Regional Burns that still have the Burny magic that the Playa has lost? Or.....(tapping...

In 2011 I clicked in at 12:00:30 to buy the ticket to my second burn. Pick any year since then, and somebody thinks it's a shit show. Because for many it has been. To be honest, I have never had problems getting tickets. Some years I bought Pre-sale, once I got DGS, others I bought in the Main Sale...

DGS, random tech click, lottery ... ... ends up being the same clusterfunk. Either way you gotta slap a throbbing gristle. Now it’s DGS recipients holding elite class status and randoms rounding out the funding pool via theme camps and stupid tax. The only thing the BORG didn’t try at this point is...

You answered your own question in your OP. Just dump your grey water in everyone else's evap ponds. KIDDING! I recommend embracing the 4th & 8th principals. - Don't provide water or an evap pond (they are gross and invite asshats who didn't have a grey water plan). Have everyone be a little radical ...

Solar lol. Wanna explain for everyone precisely how big the panels will be, and how heavy the battery bank will be for even 5000 watts, adequate to hold that load all night? I believe the whole argument is about this point: The problem arises when some of those people aren't really involved in actively planning and building the camp, and escalates further if that means their biggest contribution to the camp is money. What you've described sounds a lot like the latter. ...

Great information as usual. I knew I could count on you. I was not aware that the roadside insurance was separate from just being a Good Sam member. That's really important.

Bus/RV insurance
