It seems like a good plan. The only part I don't understand is how are they going to offer tickets to art installations when you can't register your art project yet? How do they know who will be making art? I understand rewarding the same old tired theme camp chestnuts that come back every year. But...

I would love to be wrong about the seriousness this, but I've been talking with progressive folks and they seem to agree. Ah yes, the old "lots of unnamed people agree with me!". I love it. What's next, the discussion about privilege where, despite being a white male, you get preemptively offended ...

Twitter is already starting. You mean "I'm already starting to butthurt about it on twitter"? There's not much on there except you complaining about it, and then perhaps one or two of your friends responding. BM is not a vacation, it is a job. I have to work 24x7 out there on the playa to have a good time and I am pissed that the BMORG is trying to take that right away from me just so the ticket process can be more communistic. It's not a JOB unless you work for the BMORG or are otherwise paid to be out...

Can you please elaborate on how you're "poor" but can still afford hundreds and hundreds of dollars to go on vacatio...

I got this from one of the organizers of an art installation on the open playa past the Temple of Transition this year. Yes, because as we all know, people who bring art to the event are automatically given access to the secrets of the Burning Man organization. Between that and the orgies out by th...
