Aside from having a little playa meltdown this year, my worst was the bunch of Brits who decided to do whippets out in the open in our camp while we were doing one of our dye sessions at Dye With Dignity. I don't care what you do in YOUR camp, but keep your law-enforcement-search-bait outta my camp.

Do you have a list of what needs to be done? If we had a list of tasks along with material requirements we might be able to divvy them up.

Any word from anybody who is nearby? I'm not close enough to be able to take ownership of this but if the right weekend was selected and I was able to camp for onsite I would be willing to spend a whole weekend working on the Cloud. Any chance we could set up a whole work weekend just for the cloud?

Hi, I'm with Dye with Dignity and I would also like to encourage you to check out our camp. I can personally vouch for DWD's family-friendliness. Orion would not be the only kid in our camp, nor would he/she be the youngest.

Probably, but most likely plexiglass. Or I would put some sort of plastic sticky covering on them so that if they shatter the broken pieces wouldn't moop everywhere or damage people.

It would be a climbable structure: a platform for people to stand on, to look up and see a kaleidoscope above them. Other people could clim...

The whole multigenerational thing made DWD the best damn camp on the playa (well also being part of Barbie Death Village helped too). All the mammas and papas must be doing something right because those kids were some of the coolest people I've ever met. True playa family there.
