Re: Memories From The Journey

Oooh I've got one! On the way to BRC last year we tried to meet up with some first timers in Oakland to help them get the basics and be better prepared - little did we think that we were going to be getting the lesson! We looked up the closest RV park (1545 105th avenue Oakland) to the address our f...

You'll do a great job Bobbin - just wish we could both be there to enjoy it with you.

On the plus side your first playa toilet experience will be undisturbed!

How will you survive no espresso martinis?!

Now I'm confused! I thought spelling and grammar were optional in Merica... You definitely have a lack of U, hopefully not ewes

Dont get me started on the Aussies - at least they have the excuse of being drunk though

Welcome! There are a bunch of Aussies on here, although they may be wankers that need to learn how to drink! (in spite of the Aussie reputation of being drinkers). That's right - Bobbin, she even made you drink water! Hey Lulu, Melbourne burner here although possibly not returning next year due to ...

Hi there welcome to Melbourne - I am in Melbourne.

Tokyo Sex Whale - reminds me of Bristol in the 90s!

There is plenty to do and it will get warmer soon. There is a local burning man community (on FB but plenty more than that)

Re: Questions about lnt, gray water removal, large kitchens

I make burlap sacks out of used coffee bean bags (get them free at a local coffee house) and fill them with my burnable trash. The burlap is highly flammable and burns long enough to keep little pieces of burning paper from flying away. Full bags fit nicely in most burn barrels, too. This really re...
