Re: cooling your tent or van
Hi, total non-handy question here: My camp has generator access, could we use that to power the fan? If so what fan and connection would we need to get? We also have friends in an RV next to us - could we run normal fans off their sockets from the RV? and what equipment would we need (Fan and Pump)...

Hello all, I'm a unicooler veteran, but needing to fly to the burn this year is requiring a bucket cooler. Going fine so far but, I have one question to pose to the experienced members of the community: 1. What is the best way of attaching the 90 degree PVC pipe to the top of the bucket lid? The lip...

Re: securing hexayurt with tie down straps?
I love the Tie-Down / Rope Halo method. It has worked wonderfully. One thing I will do it put pool noodles around the strap at the point it runs over the edge of the roof cone toward the playa. this does two things. 1) it keeps the tie-downs from cutting into the yurt and, 2) it keeps the straps fro...

Re: cooling your tent or van
The past few years I've done the hexayurt-unicooler combo with much success. This year, I'm flying out and can't haul everything like I used to. I'll be in a tent and want a cooler of some design. My questions to the community: 1. Can anyone share their experiences flying with cooler parts? Easy, ha...
