How do DJs protect their equipment?

Hey, I've been to burning man a few times, but I never took note of how DJs protect their tables from the dust... I remember at BM '02 at Bass Wave Marina, the DJs were behind glass in a large wooden structure. But I'm trying to find out a cheaper way to do it. Any ideas?

HAHAHAHAH! that's freakin hilarious! great idea. maybe if all the people who aren't having a good time hung out together...misery loves company, so they would actually have a good time..! Last year my step-dad was complaining about it and trying to bring everyone else down. saying stuff like "This y...

Sound Tribe Sector 9 @ Burning Man

This is something that really needs to happen. STS9 would be the best band to play at BRC this year... They're pioneers of a new genre that couldn't be more perfect for burning man. Besides contacting their tour manager, is there anything else that could be done to try and make this happen? Would bu...

And in Nevada, it is illegal to smoke pot (wether you are driving or not). REALLY?? NO WAY!!!?? :o Yea I know the laws, i break them all the time, thanx. In the united states, pot, coke, acid, shrooms, mdma, and much more are illegal. (wether you are at Burning Man or not, lmao) Sorry but i just fi...

Well, for starters, the registration process will start earlier this year so that folks will have more time to work on their idea and submit it for approval. Well thanx, it's cool that at least everyone will know this year. It's just so obvious that they fucked up last year by suprising everybody.....

there wasn't even half the amount of art-cars in general is what i mean. I still saw a bunch of "hackneyed paste-ups" anyway. Especially when it comes to the large-scale mobile art, last year there wasn't jack shit, besides a few busses that pretty much looked like....busses.

Important question regarding art-cars

Does anybody know what the deal is with registering art-cars this year?? Last year, they unfortunately decided to make it impossible for people to register they're art-cars at the event. And if you're an experienced burner i'm sure you noticed that, compared to other years, the playa was naked last ...

Yea... I guess "mellow" would be the best word for 04. And it was the worst weather those first few days. But, the vibe, and the people i met this year were amazing as they usually are at burning man. When it comes down to it, that is all that matters. I could never say i had a crappy time at burnin...

I didn't say you have to be wearing a costume on the night of the burn, or any time for that matter. This year was the first year i wore costumes. But, i saw large groups of people that were asking to be hit by cyclists or art cars. Seriously, there's nothing wrong with lighting yourself up at night...

What is happening to it all!?

2004 was my third year at Burning Man. (2002 being my first) And although that doesn't make me a very experienced burner, there are many things i'm noticing, and they aren't good. The one thing I was most dissapointed with this year was: The extreme lack of art cars! In 2002, I saw the most impressi...
