Thanks for the suggestions everyone!

Last year we stayed somewhere outside of Bridgeport or off the June Lake Loop. So... we are willing to travel a reasonable amount off 395 but not 2+ hrs.

Anyone have some great suggestions for campgrounds in the Sierras, off 395? We are looking for somewhere to spend a couple of days up in the big green trees on our way back to LA.

We'll be traveling in a 30' RV with a 10' trailer.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone have an average amount of water usage per day in an RV?

Of course we will be using the portos as much as possible & .....
..... going easy with the showers
..... using a sprayer for dish washing
..... and bringing seperate drinking water!

I read an article recently that said Emergency was better for dehydration than Gatoraid or Pedialite. Sorry I don't have the link to refer to here. Does anyone know anything about an accident that caused the detour at Nixon on Monday? It was about 2:30 or so when I reached Nixon and was detoured through Sparks.
