I have had more sex with Aphex Twin than with any of those others.
I am sure you have. But I was not counting masturbation.

But raver chicks are hot.
Why else would I spend $250,000 on my custom Marathon coach with the rooftop spash pool and shower set up.
( Actually I have plans for my own mini-sound camp dedicated to Mel Torme, Nina Simone, Cal Tjader and the likes. )

Also of note - It can still be done this year.
It is not too late. And this would force all "scalper" tickets back into STEP.
** Personally I do not think the problem is scalpers. I think it is raw supply and demand.

I think you're applying too much faith in people's common sense. There'll still be a truckload of people with fake tickets showing up at the door. And even if you're right, what happens to all those people who have a crisis and can't make it at the last minute. They can't sell their ticket because ...

I wish all virgins were as quick to participate as you. But really, I wish all burners, regardless of their "seniority", were as quick to participate as you. I know a lot of people who just come to the party and have been doing so for years. They are spectators. I am a virgin. I will be a...

I assume you are aware of the balloon LED's generally available. Just google LED Balloon Lights. These are made to be dropped inside a standard 12" - 16" balloon and then inflated.

Martinis and Cal Tjader, Nina Simone, Dave Brubeck, etc.
I was thinking about setting up a small sound system and spending a few evenings focusing on the likes of Cal Tjader, Gene Ammons, Nina Simone, Dave Bruback, etc. Something basic and along the lines of a retro-lounge feel. Not “chill” but “true.” I do not need a camp, I roll this party out monthly a...

Looking to support constructive ideas - In some countries when you use a credit card to buy a plane ticket, you need to show up with a photocopy of the credit card to use the ticket. In the Burning Man scenario, the ticket purchased can be used by anyone, but you need to have a photocopy of the cred...

I do not think the current lottery system is the BEST option, but I do think it is BETTER than what happened before. I think the change was good. I think further change is going to make it better. I think people need to turn around and quit complaining about what is clearly an improvement, and inste...

The lottery is better than what was before. It has room for improvement, but it is an improvement. From last year on, there will (hopefully) never be a year when everyone that wants to go can go and there will always be people unhappy.

Real evidence that the lottery is better: look at how the “old system” worked for Coachella …. The scalper part is secondary, the demand > supply issue is the big one. We have gotten larger than the BLM will let our population be. Simple as that. Dead on. I was online for Coachella as the tickets went on sale. I waited 45 min online in que and still did not get a ticket. The first weekend wa...

Time to make new friends...... That is a nice way of putting it. There are plenty of people with tickets. There are plenty of ideas. It is time to put the people together with the ideas. This looks like a prime opportunity for something new to take shape and see what grows in this "fertile&quo...

Re: Lets start talking about how to fix this
I think the best system is to remove all independent means of ticket verification and send them out as PDF making the “hard ticket” worthless. The only legitimacy would be the source of the ticket, meaning you buy it from Burning Man, (primary sale or STEP) or someone you really really trust, as any...

Wanna totaly mess over scalpers – here is an idea - If you really want to have some fun with the scalper market, create a ticket system that does not have any independent means of verification. If there are 50k+ tickets and 1,000 show up in the hands of scalpers, that is less than 2% of all tickets that end up with scalpers. Do you really think it is worth the added burdens and problems with non-transferable tickets and the issues with the added record keeping to avoid that 2%? Trust me, i...
