you might want to get a smaller main jet for the carburetor. Honda sells one to be used at higher altitude. It does make a difference on the playa.

You an use El wire and run a Cat9 sequencer to make the treads look like they are moving. We did this last year with our Chariot and had sequencers running the wheel spokes and the 6 channel horse making it trot as we drove.
