Re: "If you are meant to be at Burning Man, it will happen..
Haven't been on eplaya in a while. Stopped in to see the pulse of it. Gotta say that post from Eric above hits the nail on the head. About as close to reality as it gets. The straight truth is there aren't nearly enough tix to satisfy demand. It is an undesirable fact. But in terms of certain camps ...

Re: Opulent Temple 2013
Bummer that they won't be back this year, but it certainly won't change things mucha s there are plenty of other options and I'm sure theat many of the OT crew/artists will be looking for other ways to help out! Great works last year to the entire crew! Let's bring the Temple of Boom back! Seems li...

Wow! I sent the inquiry and received a response within minutes with confirmation of a revised delivery address.
Kudos to BM Ticketing! I know you catch some flack, but that follow up was A++ service! Seriously, that was awesome.

Uh, get your crunk cup, gold grille, and baggy pants out because there is going to be a ton of trap music this year.

Re: Alright, let's hear the best and worst from 2012
That reminds me of another good time - Saturday night pre gate opening I was wandering around with my son looking to get into trouble and followed the music to Dis)'(rak's camp. Never did find my way back again when they were open, even though I could see their camp from mine 1/2 a block away. I kn...

Worst: Our neighbors flying carports during the Monday wind storm. Yes they lost (2) due to piss poor anchorage. Cracked my campmates windshield, dented another campmate's truck, and damn near pinned a small girl to a box trailer. Luckily she got out of the way...barely, and only suffered a spraine...

Awesome, and thanks for bringing the birgin energy into the city. I for one know that it helps the old timers and veterans get re-invigorated about the burn. I have two responses to your post. 1.) Re: Final Thoughts and Analysis?
I thought the playa had a lot less interactive art and nightime gahering areas this year and the sound camps seemed to be more of a focal point for communal gatherings. Basically, it felt really ravey this year. It's always hard to recall, but it seems like I used to meet a lot more people before th...

Youtube NOISIA, BTK & Optiv, Mefjus, Upbeats...these guys are more into the neurofunk, and deep/dark tech dnb (NOISIA is crazy all over the place). Stuff is closer to metal than most electronica. I used to not like electronica when I first went 11 yrs ago...now I DJ DnB...go figure. BTW...I live in...

Re: The Official 2012 Rockstar Librarian Music Guide
I am a big time Slayer \m/ fan myself, and also am a drum'n'bass head. DnB is typically fast breakbeats at ~170 bpm, so it probably would be a good fit for you. Aphrodite - Opulent & Root on different days. From my limited electro experience (by limited, I mean burning man last year), it was the fa...

Already happening on auction sites; I'm seeing tickets going below $320, and most of these tickets will be at the $320 tier or higher. Now with shipping time becoming an increasingly anxious factor, folks are probably going to be happy to just break even. I love it that some of these people had over...
