Hey Gals,
We are in Louisville and hoping to find a cargo container going to BRC and back near us.
Any Of you know of one?
If not, would any camp or individual be interested in buying space on one we organize out of Louisville?

Mist cooling
Any have any good paractical comparisons of mist systems vs swamp coolers. Coming from the east size is an issue. I was thinking about a low pressure mist cooling system run by one of those RV size water pumps inside a 12 ft radius dome. Air exchange via cheap in-line bilge blowers to move air throu...

Vinyl Covering
Posted this on the other thread as well. O.K. I have the frame completed. 3v 8ft R 5/8. The Vinyl i am using for a cover is discarded Billboard covers. Anyone got the skinny on how to seam this stuff without a needle and thread? Two options I see are chemical weld (but what solvent works best) and H...

Cutting OIL
Especially when drilling, cutting oil is ESENTIAL. Took 3 bits to do 1st hole in all struts, then happy hardware guy recommened cutting oil. 1 bit did the other 195 holes! oil with a champher bit does a great job of deburring as well. And to reiterate others comments don't bother with the 1/2 inch E...

Re: My First Dome finding a press
I got a nice one from Harbor Freight less than 80 bucks. I'll be building my first dome this year. Has anyone had any luck sniffing out hydraulic presses to make the conduit-squishing easier on the person? I'm in LA and I'd loooooove to know if you know where to borrow time on such a device. Thanks!

Dome Set Up Time
o.K. Another annoying newbie question. How long does it take to setup one of those domes like Tara recommends on her site? Would prefer to have a larger structure than most tents offer as a wlcoming space. Just don't want to need a large group to set it up. Thinkg about an 8ft radius 3v 5/8. Any and...
