Re: Elliot's Naked Bicycle Service & Piano Bar - 2016
Hey Elliot, you ever get any farther south to Glen Eden or Olive Dell? or hit any of the nude beaches south of Santa Barbara? I love Bates beach and just hope we can keep it nude. Haven't made it to Laguna del Sol yet and will keep an eye out for Naked Man next year.

Re: Eridu's Brainy Bar!
I wonder if you could make a playa shade structure out of those, covered with a tarp or the silver netting stuff. I'd add a string of random blinking lights behind just the synapse parts. And chasing lights down the synapse connections arms. would be something to sit back and stare at.

I feel the same way about not wanting stuff blowing into a neighbors camp, let alone damaging anything in mine. Plan to tie down camp anytime not using stuff. Hope when I do get to the playa that my neighbors feel the same way.

Re: Any advice on where to buy Temporary RV Insurance
I was borrowing an RV and contacted my ins co USAA. They gave me a 'rider' that covered the RV etc. but not loss of use like hotel rooms and another way home etc. They suggested and additional 'travel insurance' policy from a 3rd party company just in case. They ran less than $100 for peace of mind.

Always wait till the last minute to get tickets. Buying them at inflated prices from scalpers is the 11th principal of Burning Man. Just don't resell them for profit. That's always lame.

last item on my list... sell my tickets :( The 'free use' of a burner's RV and BM camp set up is a no go. He'd not used the RV in several years and didn't realize how bad of shape it's in. I'm in Los Angeles, if you know any one who needs 2 tix and a car pass at face value, let me know. Maybe next y...

Helllooooooo! Eplaya! [First, ever Eplaya post!] A question for the veteran lag bolt-ers out there. I'm looking to drill in some 3/4" x 24" lag bolts into the playa. My FIGJAM bucket cooler works! Small pieces of the mat got in the tubing and clogged the holes, but after cleaning that out it pumped well. Any body see this at home depot? Glanced at it briefly, looks like they are using the fig idea. Uses a 18 volt ryobi type battery. 99 bucks Yeah, saw that last...
