Re: Minion Bike-Help! Need troubleshooting.

Thanks for the tips. I forgot to ask one more thing: I'm attempting to attach a minion pinata to the front handlebars but I've run into an issue. It won't be filled with candy so, it being hollow, after I tried to zip tie it on and use bent coat hangers to secure it it is still flopping around. How ...

Re: Minion Bike-Help! Need troubleshooting.

On a heavy bike I had, I just took a pipe and just wedged it in the frame. It held it up pretty well, but it wasn't very portable. Maybe just attach a piece of PVC or some other rod to a kickstand you mound higher up on the frame. You could even attach some rope or a chain to prevent it from poppin...

Minion Bike-Help! Need troubleshooting.

So, I built what I thought was a great bike for the burn this year but I'm sort of construction/material challenged and am stuck with a problem that is fixable before the burn but I need suggestions. The kickstand is not able to hold the weight of the bike (which is pretty much steel) and the basket...

Re: Burning NAKED

I plan on spending more time naked or topless this year. I probably wouldn't spend much time at camp since I feel like I might weird my friends out. Then may I suggest you meet a whole new group of friends at Barbie Death Camp & Wine Bistro ? Wouldn't want you to get all lonely or something. I spen...

Re: Burning NAKED

I plan on spending more time naked or topless this year. I didn't see a lot of topless females last year (but saw plenty of men lettin it all hang out), but the ones I did see, I thought were beautiful and confident. I probably wouldn't spend much time at camp since I feel like I might weird my frie...

Re: Any Ultramarathoners??

I REALLY want to do it this year, and promised myself not to be doing anything crazy Tuesday night to F up my plans. I'm training for ironman right now and that run is the only activity I will get on the playa all week, so I am trying to do the whole thing (done a few ultras in past few years, been ...

If you find love on the playa, LEAVE. IT. THERE. It will not be the same in the default world.

Re: Bike Construction question

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm not all that handy of a girl, and my event planning has taken over as a priority in my burn this year so that LED umbrella will have to wait until next year. Shucks.

Re: Bike Construction question

what if ya took the material off of the umbrella and replaced it with camo netting, the air could get thru and still offer ya shade. This was actually my original idea. Then, wanted to attach small poi balls to the end of each umbrella spoke so it would look cool at night. I realize the winds are a...

Bike Construction question

Hello fellow Burners.... anyone getting overly excited as every day passes?! So ready to be back on the playa ^_^ I have a major logistical question about what I'm trying to do with my bike this year. I would love to attach a pole of some kind to the back of the bike, so I can hang an umbrella over ...
