I thought I could edit my post, but perhaps it's been too long....

Re: Newbie, got slip disc, is it prudent to attend burning m
My brother in law has horrible back issues. In Cali he relies on his medical marijuana, but Nevada isn't that progressive. Prior to the card he used to throw back a shit ton of hydrocodone. (and which seems healthier, I ask you Mr politician). For muscle relaxer I believe he uses trazedone. It seems...

Rule of thumb: at least one good serious answer before unleashing the snark beast. Just one way we play nice. Mostly.
Copy that. One from me, or just in general?

Re: Photos From 2012. Watcha got?
For some reason in every pic I see everyone looks incredibly stone cold sober. Is this not a great big party full of booze and party favors? It is not, contrary to public perception. Both occur, and can occur to a great degree. Some people do make that their focus, but not everyone. Yeah, I was jus...

I can't stop myself posting.. I just can't I usually give about $500 to various "projects" each year (well for my three years thus far anyway). My criteria is as follows: 1. Am I funding art? 2. Do I like the idea of the art? 3. Do I think that the people requesting my money will use it f...

Gosh, fine, serious answers. I was feeling Friday snark. I wholeheartedly agree with what CG and Savannah alluded to. If you get in on a camp where you have an RV, and the campmates are having fun, but not blasting dubstep 24/7, and you make friends with these people to the point where they really c...

Depeche Mode. Somehow we always camp near Country Camp and hear country tunes. Do I enjoy country tunes? Not particularly, however I appreciate the originality. If I heard country at BM I'd probably sneak the speakers away and add them to a CORE project on Thursday before it gets burned. And not ju...

Re: Mesh on my tent
Is sleeping in the tent during the day, even under a monkey hut, just basically out of the question? Depends on whats covering the monkey hut or canopy. The dust will get under it Most people seem to recommend a sheet or light comforter clamped with spring ...

Re: Does the Dust Ruin Clothes?
Does playa dust permanently alter the most intimate of body parts? I plan on being at least partially naked at times (sarong or tutu with nothing underneath). I'd just hate to ruin my testicles or foreskin on this trip. Would be a real bummer.

That's awesome Ratty. Seriously. Does anyone have any good links for getting faux fur (or real fur, but it has to be sustainably harvested from roadkill, and preferably with no blood stains)? Everywhere I look the prices are insane lots of fake fur at goodwill stores . Full fake fur coats 15.00 . T...

I have no clue, but I've heard feedback on here and other places that a lot of the convenient locations are already all booked for both RVs and cargo trucks. As stated above, you'll likely need to get one in an alternate city

Everyone should have a will; don't pretend you are never going to die. A fucking airplane could crash through your roof at any moment. Just do it. Tell your next-of. And leave it where someone can find it, with a list of all your on-line passwords. Jeez. Consider a living trust. People in my...
