I think we should name the streets something like...

Smog
Acid Rain
Nuke Fall Out
Green House Gas
Raw Sewage
Global Warming
Baby Diapers
Medical Waste
Chemical Warfare

Negative Camp Atmosphere

:? I want to run this past a few of you. I've been camping w/ a group of people for the past few years at BM. We have a great set-up. I enjoy seeing these old friends each yr. However, our camp is not the most loving. Several folks tend to point out the "negatives" in others we meet or see at BM. Ev...

RagnaRoss you say some familiar thgings. I also feel unsure about being welcome at theme camps and in general. Then again I can feel that way in the "real world" also. I've been twice. I have to say that there are alot of similarities w/ the "real world". I'm wondering if it's me bringing those feel...

I got mine @ costco this yr. I put it up at home and it took over an hour. However, that's fresh out of the bx, reading instructions and the first time ever. I'm anticipating an hr building time on the playa by my self. However I will need another person at a couple of steps. Rebar on the legs and g...

Erecting a firm pole

:?: I'm wanting to put up a flag pole this yr at my camp. I tend to have trouble finding hm. The pole will have 2 windsocks and a light weight light becon. I'd like to go at least 20 ft high. However I don't know if that's tall enough? What matterials are best suited? Does pvc work and what diameter...

Blackrock City's favorite molten metal mongers return to the playa after a three year absence. Looking foward to bending, bolting and burning at Blackrock, as well as operating the city's finest nightclub. We're looking foward to rekindling old friendships as well as igniting many new friends :wink...

Re: I'm probing for ideas...

And, there are plans to advertise at the DMV and hand out fliers to mutant vehicle drivers on the playa. [/i] Fliers sound like MOOP to me. But, how can mutant vehicle owners be encouraged to participate?!?! Also, it seems as if it would be easier to herd cats than organized a bunch of mutant burne...

It's no big secret. I'm hesitant to say too much because I don't want to look like a flake if I don't come through w/ this project for some reason. Meditation FLR

I've always liked the look of EL'Wire. What about using el wire under the meditation floor? I'd like to use el wire for my project except the sculpture is so large the cost would be prohibative. Or maybe just paint it white w/ a good glossy paint. That will glow and help keep the metal from getting too hot. The structure is constructed of metal and will be interactive, ie:people will be touching and moving it.
