Re: About those tix...

Haha, sorry Simon and friends, I thought this was an information/resource sharing site, didn't realize I got my pussy in your circlejerk. Looking at the 2012 forums, it seems like people can't wait to ditch their tix, what with rent and such. I'm signed up for STEP, but I signed up for the first sal...

About those tix...

When are they supposed to start rolling in? I remember someone posted a picture of a bunch of eplaya threads of people selling their tix, when does this usually happen? May, June?

Re: How to spot undercover cops?

There ought to be a place in America where freedom-loving, responsible, tax-paying citizens and veterans can go out and do to themselves whatever they wish without Nanny Statist liberal cops sniffing our assholes with dogs and undercover agents. Damn liberal cops with their ultra-conservative racis...

Re: Some lingering questions

Well I wasn't really hoping to use Art Cars as transportation, just wanted to hitch a ride. Thanks for the food information, and I"m definately bringing a bike. I'm going to keep an eye out on Kickstarter for some cool art cars I would want to donate to.. And thanks for the link to the backpack...

Some lingering questions

I've done my research, just a few general questions about the festival I'm hoping to get answered. Answer one or many or all, I'd like some mixed input. 1. How much food could I expect to be offered by theme camps, and what kind of lines do give-away-food-camps usually have? I understand radical sel...

Update if anyone still cares: we just put in the new floor, cedar, it should be ok if we leave it on the flatbed. We aren't out of the woodwork yet, though, there's still work to be done

Re: NOWAR assassinations looking for help

It sounds really fun, but with all the wiring and elaborate costumes, spraying water around seems dangerous. I would hate for someone in an LED suit like Junlgesmacks to get mistaken for a player and get electrocuted, or more realisticly some stray water hit a generator or adapter and short out a wh...

I bought the high priced ticket last year but WOW!! Not this year. I hope they still have the 'snail mail' option on opening day. A fair point. I was expecting to spend $300-$400, this would set me back a little. What do the vets think? Are you worried enough to shell out an extra few bills to secu...

Re: 2013 Theme - Cargo Cult - thoughts?

As for the theme itself I think it has potential, though it's more specific than the last few years' themes. I understand where BMorg is coming from, more trying to get people to view themselves as the cargo cult. I also understand the racial concerns. I've actually heard of cargo cults a long time ...

Looks fucking amazing, I'm lurking this project. I laughed out loud when I read the interactivity page; "the water features, fire, extra lights, and some sex sounds will be triggered by this wall of dildos". The climbing wall seems unsafe; maybe I'm looking at it wrong.

Wasn't going to update until we officially decided what to do, but we hit the bottom with a preassure sprayer and it went through it like tissue paper. Only the middle seems to be damaged, we washed the outer edges (of the bottom) without much incident. We are considering several options, including ...

We did some work on it today, he drilled some stuff, seemed legit to me. We washed it down, I was expecting a lot more splintered wood than we got. We haven't cleaned the bottom. We used polyurethane caulk on the inside for the worst of the cracks, but now we're out, and he says painters caulk won't...

Use elastimer roof coating instead of paint. Won't peal or chip. It will be cheaper, no priming, and will seal all the moop in place. Buy white and throw whatever color you want in it. 8) Sounds perfect, I'll get on that well, good on ya, whatever you decide. Thanks for taking the moop issue seriou...
