Re: Looking for a camp

Oh you were actually being sincere I do humbly apologise.

Thank you in any case, you certainly made me giggle even if it wasn't intentional.

Re: Looking for a camp

Thanks Trilobyte and feedback taken on board Dr Helix - it wasn't a laundry list, just a rough idea of what I'm searching for.

Crypto - sorry wouldn't want to be part of your ghetto camp, you've put me off it :)

Re: Looking for a camp

Dr Helix I'm asking for ideas. I'm not looking to freeload - that's not the idea of BM in the first place. If you read my post, you'll see that I'm asking to help out with the healing side of things. I can't mention what I'm offering until I know what camp it is that's offering up a vacancy. Clearly...

Re: Looking for a camp

I appreciate your comment Trilo but I think my post is specific about finding a particular kind of camp and as I have said before I have looked at the BM link with all the 2013 camps on there. The only reason I am starting to look now is because I am working a full-time job and doing a dissertation ...

Looking for a camp

Hi guys I have a couple of ideas for camps that I would love to join but I don't seem to be having any luck getting a reply from them so thought I'd see if I could find other camps that might be similar. I'm looking to join a camp that is oriented towards spirituality and wellbeing - running talks, ...

Re: Rideshare from San Francisco to BRC

Got my ticket and arranged to pick up a bike on the playa so no sweat there. However if anyone sees this post and can offer a ride from SF to BRC, I will just have one cabin baggage, tent, sleeping bag, and water!

Re: Rideshare from San Francisco to BRC

Thanks guys for all your replies. I was sort of aware of the Burner Express bus but wasn't sure whether a bike would be feasible - from the website I don't think they would allow that. In terms of dates, I'm pretty flexible though ideally I would like to leave 1-2 days before the festival (Saturday/...

Rideshare from San Francisco to BRC

Hi there! I don't know if now is too soon to ask but thought sooner better than later! 2013 was my first time at Burning Man and it was absolutely magical I'm returning again! This time I'm planning to camp rather than do the RV thing but slightly concerned about transportation. Last year, I went vi...

Re: Sharing an RV

Hey Nursel, I will be going to the Burners' meet tomorrow so definitely see you there. Have you got a mobile number? Drop me a PM. I've already found an RV to share with two others but I don't know if there is space for you two. Will check. The more the merrier I say, helps to spread out the costs a...

Sharing an RV

Hey guys This is my first time to Burning Man and so all this planning is freaking me out! A friend and I are planning to join the Barbie Death Village (BDV) camp and we're looking to share an RV with someone. I can drive (she can't) but wouldn't try as I haven't done so in ages, so I would prefer s...

Re: The Individual Sale has started!

Help! I started around 12:04 and spent an hour or so waiting (on my ipad, safari) before going on my desktop (chrome) a few minutes ago. Am I starting at the back of the queue again?! And why is this taking so long? Am I the only one getting this problem? The first few posts looks like people are ge...

Re: Hello from London!

This is brilliant, thanks for the warm welcome guys and advice. Not fussed whether I join a London camp or not but thought that logistics would be much easier if so. In any case, I have all the direction that I need so will check out the other posts and try and link up with fellow burners from the U...

Hello from London!

Hello all

Will be a virgin at this year's Burning Man and am looking for some fellow seasoned burners to join up with :)

Anyone here run an open camp or also from London and heading out in August?

Let me know!

Suzy
