Hey everyone
I'm finishing a movie which I shot partly in Black Rock City in 2014. Does anyone know who can give me permission to use images of the bone tree in it?

Re: Further Future deleted by mods?
Yep, it looks like the worst kind of Caravansicle Krug Champagne Susan Sarandon 1%-er crap. It is Burning Man, stripped of the effort and the reward. An expensive prostitute dressed up in Burner gear, and sold to the highest bidder. I suppose what irks me is the founders are Burners (and Robot Hear...

Building our first wood art to be burned
Hello everyone [= My name is Bernardo aka Giggles. My first and second burns were 2013 and 2014. In 2013 I met by chance Ana, she had just become Burning Man's regional contact here in Brazil, and eversince we've been trying to do a little regional burn here. Right now I'm working towards a weekend ...

Re: Low Income Ticket Program Information
Other than by email, is there any other way - perhaps Burner Profile? - that you can know you have a low income ticket? In case the email is deleted before you ever read it.

Re: Alternatives to glitter?
Snazaroo face paints make a glitter gel that looks like glitter but absolutely does not shed any glitter. I tested it several times before taking it to the playa. The gel is very sticky and even when it dries the glitter sticks really well. Only downside is you may need makeup remover to get it off...

Re: One Piece of Advice for a Birgin
Plan good meals. don't try to survive a week in one of the harshest environments imaginable on granola bars and fruit (although granola bars and fruit are a great snack food on the playa.) That was my mistake my first year. I love eating good meals, so bringing a bbq and frozen chicken and steaks m...

Re: Alternatives to glitter?
I wonder if there'll ever be a solution for this. I read somewhere that even off playa glitter is considered moop =P It's too small to do anything responsible with it after it's been used, and it's one of those things that kind of never decomposes... I think it's beautiful to blow giltter on people'...

Has anyone ever been able to come up with some sort of alternative to glitter or glittery makeup?

Re: Making video at Burning Man?
I did a really lousy job, putting it in a ziplock and cutting a hole, and it was perfectly fine - APPARENTLY =P My own D80, I didn't even do anything to it... Just took it out and photographed and that's it. But I only shot (photos and video) one day, because I didn't have the energy on the others. ...

Making video at Burning Man?
Hello everyone =]
I'm going to Burning Man for the first time this year. I want to shoot 3D video there and I was wondering what precautions you guys have taken (those of you who have shot video there). Specially with regards to the dust.
Thank you '=)

Re: Virgin burner, starting preparations for 2013
This is wonderful, things have changed a little so now I really can start making some plans! I'll actually be living in Toronto in August, so I can go with a group from here, or go to San FRancisco before for a few days and go with a group from there. I'm thining where I can leave my luggage while I...

Re: Need share large truck from SF Bay Area
Hi David '=) I want to go to Burning Man for the first time this year. I may have an interest in sharing a truck because I'm thinking of a way to get to Black Rock City carrying supplies for the week and tent and sleeping bag etc. I don't drive. How many people would share it? Also, don't I need som...
