Re: What's my conspiracy?

In art school there is a lot of study of art history because it is considered rude and a failure of creativity to steal other's work. Wendell Castle disagrees. 30ish years ago I went to a lecture at the Philadelphia Art Museum given by Wendell Castle, one of America's premier Potter/Sculptor/Educat...

Re: School Bus 101, long technical post

Good Sam covers towing. Otherwise I've heard it can be a fortune (like $1500). But with Good Sam, make sure they tow you and don't try to do a field repair. They will only pay 1 way mileage for a repair, which means you are paying the guy to drive back to his shop after he fixes your bus (or back t...

Re: Driving from VA

I've driven to the burn twice and flown 3 times from Philadelphia. Both have their advantages, but I would recommend the drive in your situation. I have done this the opposite of what has been previously mentioned, I make a beeline when I drive to the burn (basically doing it in 4 days in an RV fro...

Yes... But the vice grips add a lot of color to the story. And they seem far more playappropriate.

IMO 'yall are putting the carriage ahead of the horse. Nothing has been mentioned about a fence or barriers by BLM yet, ceding to barriers and fences now and it's almost certain to have one. BMORG still has some say, but who knows where they stand on this... I say keep it real, and don't childproof...

Extremely well said BB!!!

The only thing I would be worried about is sandmen or firemen being caught inside the fence if something goes wrong (think sudden wind shift with fire tornadoes or ????).

What a strange nonsensical post. "I ate luxury foods, talked to camp managers who hire workers, but the real problem is bikes. So let's blame the bike problem on PnP." So much this! The whole time I was reading it I was thinking, "What a poorly written pile of disjointed crap this is." At least you...

I had a friend who loved telling the story of him and his childhood friend parking in a handicapped spot at the mall. When they (Two late teen males) got out of the car and started walking into the mall, some guy started yelling at them for parking in a handicapped spot. His friend pulled off his p...

Welcome! FYI, there is no Ultimate Frisbee allowed on the playa. We are a Disc Golf only event. The course usually sets up on the 2:00 side of town. Your lids will still serve you well as plates as you venture through the city indulging in it's various gastronomic delights, just don't let the range...

My .02 based solely on personal experience, YMMV. Splat. I have found these to be, by far, the most long lasting colors in my hair. I've used 6 Splat colors and all of them worked brilliantly. The only one I would put any kind of a warning on is the pink... That shit NEVER comes out! It came back f...
