Re: PAGE TWO

Yeah, they both just forgot to mention that they had tickets. I'm sure now that you asked they'll remember and present you with a chance to buy them.

Or maybe they're actually saving them for a paper mache sculpture.

Re: PAGE TWO

I don't know if you think you're being funny, you think you're being clever, or you're actually trying to make a valid point but zero of those things are happening, so you should probably just stop.

Re: Will it ruin the experience if you're in pain and limpin

I have a pain condition that can be debilitating ,and I was fine on the playa last year. I had some minor problems, and I couldn't see everything I wanted to, but I don't regret going for a second. I didn't bring a wheelchair, but if you want to you absolutely should. However, I wouldn't rely on peo...

Re: Advice: Moving to the Bay Area

You also might want to consider some of those cool Bay Area Burners here may come from or enjoy being in places you consider "janky." Everyone is different. Just a thought,--the majority of the neighborhoods I suggested in the last post are somewhat to relatively affluent. It seemed like that was wh...

Re: Advice: Moving to the Bay Area

There are some very nice areas of Oakland. Rockridge, Montclair, Claremont, Piedmont, and parts of Lake Merritt or Jack London Square come to mind right off the bat. Rent controlled apartments are really difficult to find. Not impossible--but I wouldn't move out here with the expectation of finding ...

Re: Advice: Moving to the Bay Area

I would suggest Oakland in terms of affordable housing that is close to public transit and exciting stuff, but I'm not sure if you have a car or not. Either way, Oakland is very centrally located and cheaper than San Francisco or Berkeley. Plus it's pretty awesome. :) There are a lot of different ne...

Re: Burners with Erythromelalgia

It can be difficult, but I love Burning Man and I don't want this to stop me from going. Stress, extreme weather, and physical exertion are all triggers (and of course, all part of Burning Man as well) but I try to be responsible so I can deal with any problems without having to bother others. The w...

Burners with Erythromelalgia

Hello, I'm a long time lurker, and a few time poster. I was curious to hear if there were any ePlayans who were interested in discussing their difficulties with Erythromelalgia on the playa. When I was there it wasn't a huge problem, but I did experience some flare ups that made various tasks more d...

Re: Hello and Welcome... What's your name? Tell me about You

yes you did, thank you so much. :) you also stopped by my camp this year, but i was serving people at the bar so i only had a few minutes to talk.
I'd love to go every year, but based on my budget it may be a bit difficult. we'll see what happens, I would love to be out there in 2014.

Re: Looking for someone to transport a bike: Bay Area

If I can't get a bike out there, I'll totally be fine with walking or using those bikes (I did last time I was there). But it would be awesome to have my own, and I figure it is worth a shot to try to make it happen.
thanks for the suggestion though. :)

Looking for someone to transport a bike: Bay Area

Hello :), I am looking for someone to transport a bike from the Bay Area to BRC and back. I have found a ride and room for nearly all of my stuff, but unfortunately there's no room for a bike. I'll be on the playa from 8/24 to 9/1, though I don't necessarily need to have the bike the entire time. Me...
