Thanks to Saffron Chickles McPherson, we had the most rocking shade structure that held up wonderfully.

use a kitchen cleaner with bleach - it will take it right off, but wash really good afterwards and don't leave it on long - it usually takes just a few seconds... this worked for punky dye, should work for anything.
