I got lucky too! Go figure.
Been years since I scored tickets in the main sale.

Re: Main Sale
Question for folks that DID get tickets: were you in the "Waiting room" prior to noon or did you click on the link at noon or after? Clicked my email link at 11:54 and went to the waiting room. Moved into the queue at 12:05 and the little man walked about two bars every 45-50 seconds. Into the sale...

Thanks for the info Eric. I did fly in and last year and I picked up my ticket at the airport "will call". Hopefully they can help with the transfer there.

Re: Vehicle Passes
Why not just give whatever vehicle pass you're planning on using Monday to your friend to use on Wednesday? Then you can pick up your actual pass at will call and use that one on Monday, saving everyone a good deal of trouble? I don't believe you can transfer will call stuff... Good idea except my ...

Re: Vehicle Passes
OK, I have my ticket and I also purchased a vehicle pass and they are "will call". But, I will not need the pass. I will be there early on Monday and I have a friend arriving on Wednesday without a vehicle pass. Can I leave my vehicle pass at will call under her name?

Hey Radise,
Aviation enthusiast? Me too. We have an airport at burning man and you might want to come out for a plane ride over BRC. I gave over 25 rides last year.

Re: (NOT A) Virgin Burner flying in from TX
Hey Burners, Just want to say that I made it last year flying the airplane I built in my garage over 15 years. A dream come true and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I was able to get a ticket last week and I plan to fly in again this year. Last year I gifted about 25 rides out...

Yeah, that's what I figure I'll do. Just send out for pizza and beer, or perhaps some chinese takeout.dragonpilot wrote:Just fly'er in and taxi to a tie down spot and get ready to par-tay!
Don't worry about bringing anything...you can pretty much buy what you need from all the vendors.

Re: Virgin Burner flying in from TX
Yeah, I've read everything I could find about the BRC airport. I'm good to go. I built this airplane for back country camping and exploring. Places you can only get to by air. My plans are to fly all over the country this summer pitching a tent and camping under my wings. All goes well I'll be touch...

Virgin Burner flying in from TX
Yeah, like really flying in. I have been building an airplane for the past few years and told myself that when it was done I was going to quit my job and just take off and fly away for awhile. Well, it is done and I have given notice. Some experienced burner friends told me that it I was trying to "...
