Re: New from CO!
Hello love! Me and my burner family are based out of Colorado as well. We are a village that consists of a few different camps, but two of them are centralized around music/DJ set ups. I do not come on Eplaya as much as I used to so please look up our fan page on Facebook. We are "I need an adult" v...

Re: Enchanted Forest/Playground seeking campers
Wait, so there WILL be a forest? Please advise once you have a location. Ours will be a Ewok Village/Adult Playground sort of thing. The schematics look awesome. I'll let you know where we'll be once we know. We are voting on a name at our next meeting so I'll keep you posted on our name and locati...

Illy dilly - wow! I've never really heard anyone talk about it that made me want to go... Now I kinda do! Probably not going to be able to afford it this year, but maybe next year. You'll have to let me know when you get back how it turned out

Re: First-Timers from Wyoming
Keith- I understand completely about not wanting to join a camp right away and ours does have fees. I was just offering you to join our virgin meeting. We're going to go over the rules of Burning Man and what they mean to you. Also give tips on what to bring and kinda what to expect. And obviously t...

Re: First-Timers from Wyoming
Never been actually. I've always been worried that I'll want it to be Burning Man and get there just to find another rave... Is that the case?

Tom would agree with you on that one. Every time he tried to take me there though they were closed

Bummer. That's one if the reasons this question is so hard. Even if you get a completed list... Chances are you won't be able to find said bar or it won't be open if you do.

Re: Share short stories for my project, please?
My advise is the same to everyone. Spend at least an hour at the temple soaking it all in (to me, the temple is what makes burning man so emotional and special). Never be afraid to hop on an art car to see where it takes you (they may be going somewhere far that you would have never thought about vi...

Re: First-Timers from Wyoming
I'm in Denver and our camp was planning on having a virgin meeting some time in June or July for all of our newbies. If you want some face time and some advice with other burners and are willing to make the trip (it's about an hour and a half drive or so) you are more than welcome to join. Lemme know!

Re: Same Attire Every Year?
Pretty much all the night costumes I have made myself are always on the list (skirt made out of pool tubing, black shirt infused with blinky lights, skirt with flowers hot glued on) but day ware is mainly loud silk-like shirts and long light skirts and are updated year after year

Just addressed to what doesn't work as far as costumes go. I didn't really read other responses. Any chance I get to discourage glitter and feathers... I take it.

Re: PLAYA FASHION - What works? What doesn't?
No feathers and no glitter! While making your costumes make sure choose fabric that isn't going to shed and moop up the playa. Even though a costume may look cute... If you're leaving a trail of destruction behind you, you're not a burner, just a sparkle pony. Good luck doll! Hope to see some of you...

Re: Is there a line you Can cross at bm?
The only lines you can really cross are your own. You are always encourage to express yourself however you wish. As long as your friend understands that he is opening himself up to negative reactions that may or may not effect his experience... Let him wear whatever he wants. And by the way... This ...

Re: I just turned 21, which playa bars are the best?
I have always enjoyed the duck pond. It's hard for anyone to tell you which bar is best because there is a best bar for everyone! That's the beauty of burning man :D my all time favorite bars end up being in random places that I can never find again. So my advice to you is... Find YOUR best bar by e...
