All the groceries are bought and stacked... Ready to be loaded (minus last minute purchase of some produce). Today I am decorating my bike and writing up instructions for my in-laws on how to feed/water my kids while I'm away!

This article was an 'aha moment' for me. People keep asking why I want to go to Burning Man and I honestly couldn't answer them! I now realize its the sociology of the event that interests me and the creative currents that draw me to it. Very interesting! Thanks!

Sooooooo...... I gave up on Saturday trying to get him done. Too much going on in real life. Then I decided to mount the finished pieces and it looked so good that I've stayed up until 2:30am the last two night to get it finished in time to ship on Friday. Pictures when I stop hallucinating from sl...

VC - that fuckin' stinks. I know how you feel - my brother and I had a falling out the beginning of last year (crying, hurtful words, and a long no talking spell). We just now are starting to trust each other again and are each allowing ourselves to enjoy each others company again. All wounds will h...

I would wash it, wrap it in a slightly damp paper towel and seal it in a ziplock. You may want to double ziplock it to give it a little buffer against ice burn in the cooler.

Morning graidawg! Morning goathead! Need some coffee? Just made some.... I've been up since 3am - Again! My baby starts kindergarten today. So, combine that fact with the one that I had too much fun last night and I'm awake - when I should be sleeping- waiting for the ibuprofen to ease my fat head. ...

I'm a list maker too, MyDearFriend! It's the ONLY way I've found to settle my obsessive mind. Last night I woke up at 3am and thought, 'don't forget to pack the screw you need to hang your artwork'. Then my mind was clicked into organizational overdrive and I couldn't get back to sleep. So, today th...

Made my hubby a furry cozy warm vest for nighttime adventures.... Now, I just have to talk him into wearing it!
If that idea sinks with my hubby I'm sure the vest will fly with someone else and make an amazing gift!

When I was living in Austin, TX they had a festival called "SPAMarama". It was a lot of fun. The area's chefs would all gather and compete to make the best gourmet dishes using SPAM. It was AMAZING what they came up with! The public would then sample the dishes and place their vote for various categ...

Set up my 12 solar tiki lights that I got for my bday back in April to see if they charge/work and to see how long they run on a charge. Can't wait for tonight! I picture myself sipping a cold beverage as the sun sets waiting for those little LEDs to light up one by one!

AntiM - do you accept ALL forms of art? Even if it has expletives? Made a beautiful (although what some may consider offensive) piece last night. My hubby took one look at it and said - "I love the colors.... But I don't think we should hang it on OUR walls!" - lol! My daughter (she's 8 ) said, "I w...

No worry... Just curiosity! I think it's interesting that there is a need and demand for fake meat products. Having no idea as to the reason myself, I thought I'd ask the 'experts'!Ugly Dougly wrote:Jeez, why worry so much about what other people eat?

Re: Vegans, vegetarians....fake meat eaters
It was funny though, just last month we went to this Mexican market/restaurant in Hot Springs Ark. There wasn't a single person in the entire place that spoke a word of English. I though that a bit odd. :?: What we had to do is make "little piggy faces" and she caught on. I've been to places like t...
