All right... he is featured in the Burning Man Journal, August 11, so unless he hacked into the BM Journal, he is probably legitimate.

Topia.io, Build-A-Burn, Dylan Jones?
Received an e-mail yesterday from a Dylan Jones, addressed to the theme camp I lead, with a link to the below outfit, inviting me to participate in whatever-it-is: https://welcome.topia.io/buildaburn Fresh from the fiasco of Ascher Munion's fake and fraudulent "consent training" activities last year...

Re: New burner with interesting bicycle
Sounds good. You may even find that the riders can help the thing turn better by pedaling harder on the outside wheel and less on the inside one.
And if I can finish mine in time, we can compare notes -- and maybe have a race.

So long as it has muscle power only, four wheels are perfectly OK. (No electric assist allowed.)
But if you convert it to three wheels, you will enjoy lower rolling resistance.

Ha ha!
Not to brag, but in my own youth, I routinely turned in essays of half the prescribed length and scored A+ every time.
How?
Because I wrote something a little bit original and thoughtful.

Ryan... by now, a tiny light-bulb should be slowly flickering on, somewhere in your bright young brain. And what might this new idea be, you ask? ...That we have given you the only possible angle for your impossible report -- namely... well... you have been reading it. Yes, this would be a bit outsi...

Re: Best layout for a camp of 2 people
I see you are considering an air matress. My experience with those is that they deflate during the night. And that is without a leak. The Playa becomes colder during teh night, and the air in the mattress shrinks. Try putting a baloon in the fridge and see what hapens.

Two people, pulling and twisting in opposite (obviously!) directions. Tons more effective than one person wrestling with it.

Welcome to ePlaya, MrsB!
Theme Camp territory is traditionally marked with blue flags. These are tiny little flags down on the ground, about 4 inches square.
It's not like there is a "fence" of them, but if you look up and down the street a little, you can see them.

Re: Garage Sale after Burning Man
My first thought was "thrift store", but of course the Dust makes that unrealistic. It is not uncommon to gift such items to other Burners when you leave BRC. My camp once received 14 bicycles, 14 chairs, and so forth from a foreign group, and we are making use of it all. That said, many Burners wil...

Re: Are Burners: Dog People or Cat People or Other?
That's impressive! Cats have high level of harmful-to-humans organims in natural "ecosystem" in the mouth. A cat bite can be dangerous. A cat bit my hand once, and I practicaly watched the infection walk up my arm for a few hour until the ER nuked it with antibiotic. Same with bears, in case your na...

Welcome to ePlaya! It will also be possible to change the shipping address of the tickets up to May 25. Many Burners sleep in tents, but I recommend that you install shade over the tent, lest the tent become a "solar oven". A popular form of shade is a "monkey hut", which you can read about in numer...
