Most places just require you to pay an extra fee, usually around $100. I've had to rent a car before, when I totaled my car , and it went pretty smoothly besides having to pay the fees. I have full coverage on my current vehicle, so I won't need to pay anymore for more insurance.

This is my first year as well! I also got on will call and I can't wait!! I live in TN, and I plan on flying into Sacramento and renting a car. But if I can find a better, cheaper way like road tripping it I'd be totally down!
