VP BS
You know, it would be so awesome if the Powers That Be (I dunno if that's the BmORG or Ticketfly) would create a functionality to change your OMG registration status. When I registered for the OMG sale, I needed both a ticket AND a VP . . . in the intervening period, I was able to get a ticket - so ...

Re: Secure Ticket Exchange Program (STEP)
No worries - thanks for getting back to me! Though when I glanced at the subject line and saw "STEP", I got SOOOOO excited (as I thought it was my Golden Ticket message - d'oh).
Anyhoo, your info is very helpful so I can know what to look/search for in my e-mails. Hopefully, I'll get one!

Re: Secure Ticket Exchange Program (STEP)
Several people reporting on reddit that they got emails from STEP. It's finally happening! yep, just bought mine! Mazel Tov!!! Who was the sender of the good news e-mail? STEP? BMORG? I just want to make sure I don't miss the message in the morass of e-mails I get every day - as I'm hoping the tick...

Snow Peak Solid Stakes 'Stead of Rebar
Howdy, ePlayateers! This is my fourth burn, but my first solo and I'm thinking of getting these super-cool Snow Peak solid stakes (can be driven through ashphalt!): http://www.backcountrygear.com/snow-peak-solid-stake.html instead of rebar for my tent and shade structure and wanted to consult the sh...

Re: Gifts/Swag
I really like the Alien tag, as well as the Paper Bag one (but personally, I'd leave off the "John Frum" text - I think it's more interesting without it)!!! Great gifts!!
P.S. - Where are you camping, so we can come visit you, say "Hi" in person and exchange gifts?

Re: Drilling holes for rebar
YES!!! This works like a charm and I've used this aid my last two Burns to help create an easier, more efficient way to get the rebar into the Playa for the monkey hut pvc (which after doing the first time WITHOUT the drill, was a serious PITA) . . . I highly recommend it. :D P.S. - I used a regular...

Re: Mesh on my tent
Hammering in a shitload of 15" rebar into the ground sucks. They don't go in very easily, especially when you candy cane them before hammering them in. Then I found these suckers. 15" snow stakes that hammer into the playa with ease. Plus they come out just as easily, just twist and pull.... http:/...
