That's some great info - thanks. I think I'll aim for a night ride - take it super slow (lugging a trailer anyway) - and enjoy the heater with my windows open. I'll blast some talk radio and a few energy drinks.

It's about a 7 hour drive for me. If i leave at 7pm I can get there around 1am. Would that be smarter - so I don't expose my truck to heat? Or would it be smarter to drive during the day?
