Thank goodness BMIR grounded well and no one was hurt. It was pretty obvious when the strikes were coming so best thing to do is have...

Re: LED bulbs, Batteries & Charging
I thought normally you'd only need resistors for those tiny LEDs with the 2pin legs? Or three pins. Or four. In your diagram above I just see raw LEDs. If they are some kind of assembled unit then they might have the necessary circuit inside -- just be sure before hitting the playa. That sai...

Re: LED bulbs, Batteries & Charging
I don't see any resistors in your circuit. Are they part of the LEDs?
LEDs are typically pretty sensitive so you might consider resisting the flow of electrons as not to damage the diodes.

However, I thought if it's a festering issue that could be diluting the uniqueness of the BM experience, that people should be paying attention. Oh, trust me, people are paying attention. But there's not much we can do besides talk ad nauseam about it. We won't know if the policies implemented by t...

My camp leader makes the best god'damn pickles I've ever had. He's the one who got me hooked on homemade pickles. That's actually the highlight of my Burning Man. I'm hoping he'll have a jar for me this year to share. The little joys are the best!
