Discovered that the issue was on Ticketings side. The somehow provided him a link that contained an "extra space" in the URL which caused the problem.
You are correct there were VERY responsive and replied before the day was over.

DGS Ticket Troubles
Today during DGS ticketing one of my campmates tried to purchase tickets. For reference: I'm the camp lead and I registered his e-mail address ahead of the sale and was given the "Good to Go" so the e-mail address was fully registered, burner profiles created, etc., etc. He was able to get to the po...

Good point. A better response would have been "As the burning orb transitions above the western hills stop by for a dusty dog before embarking on dirty thrills"

Yes, definitely keep your private porto secret, don't even tell your campmates. That's what I do every burn.
Luckily they are also very lazy and will never see this post!

Re: Camp D^5 Looking for Interactive Assistance
I forgot to mention we just booked DJ Dolbytall for a sunset set on 8/27 Monday night (7:30-9:30pm) and a sunrise set on 9/1 Saturday (5:30-7:30am).
Great EDM/Trance music, you'll find him on mixcloud and soundcloud

Re: Camp D^5 Looking for Interactive Assistance
Yeah, puppy play is a fairly specific 'thing' in the kink world. Probably not your bag. Okay so I used the power of the vast inter-webs and in very general terms you could say we are a puppy play camp in the most innocuous of ways. There was no intent behind the dog theme, other than since we were ...

Welcome Bittersweet! And welcome to ePlaya. You really gotta love this crew. It's like every character in Rocky Horror Picture Show, or the Adams Family, you'll eventually get familiar with each personality and when you see a persons avatar, you'll be like "oh fuck, here we go again" or "thank blood...

I have been to 14 burning man(s) This year I will try burning man with a camp. I can show up early and help build the camp and I can help cook Hot Dogs . I am from Reno just 134 miles away. Is there a covered area here I set up a bed roll? Is there access to a shower? Hey Thomas, welcome to the for...

Yep, I was clued in by the G (first) and 4:15 in the placement letter, definitely on G based on the placement letter instructions. I would have thought mid-block, but with 4:15 having an avenue on G there is a chance it could be on that corner as well. We are rolling in Thursday. If I can get all th...

Your camp sounds great. Are you placed? If so, where? Did you get your health dept license? Don't forget your fire extinguisher. I'd love to find you guys and have an otter pop. Hey Ratty! Yes, we are placed. We are on G and 4:15. I'm not sure if we'll be on the corner of 4:15, but we do know that ...

No, it's definitely not a sex camp. While sex may occur at some point during said event in said camp, we are just your typical run of the mill camp. Our main interactivity events are: Gifting hot dogs from 5pm to dusk (daily, until the dogs are gone) Obstacle course, where guests traverse obstacles ...

Camp D^5 Looking for Interactive Assistance
At Camp D^5 we’re having a bounty of interactive entertainment and activities catering to the young, young at heart, hippies excluded (sorry). We would enjoy a couple more experienced burners who are willing to be interactive and help out and in return you can reside in our fun interactive camp at G...

Who to Contact: Concerning Burning Art at the Temple

I need help finding who to coordinate with on taking plaques to the Temple for burning. Here is the background for ...

Here are a bunch of tiny box necklaces I'll be bringing for 2018. Each box is laser cut from 1/8" wood and measures 3/4"Lx1/2"Wx1/2"H. There is a sliding top that comes out to reveal a tiny bell inside. The premise behind this being that once you leave the playa in 2018 this tiny box will be a symbo...

Pyro Board Thoughts?
I'm planning on building a couple of pyro boards for the this coming year and I was wondering if there were any camps that have had experience with this and could provide some tips. My plan is to have two 24"x24" boards with two six inch speakers driving each pyro board. Some of my concerns are: Win...

Re: Drill/Driver and an Impact Driver..... ?
You want an impact driver. They sell super handy little 1/4" drive models but I'd be more tempted to go up a size. I have to agree with the Captain, pump up the impact wrench to something you know will do the job. I took a 1/2", 20Volt impact driver with 5/8" x 23" lag bolts and that worked wonderf...

What projects have you been involved with or created out on the playa? My art assists were in 2012 and 2013 with Rob Bell and the Zonotopia Crew. Re: Electronic Art and Securing Structure
Great input Jackass. I totally didn't think about the dielectric grease. That's an excellent choice for the ICs and capacitors especially. The PCBA's aren't super component intensive, but there are over 680 individual circuit boards that will be involved in the project and that ends up being a coupl...

I also work with a long-time burner who has been a part of various art installations (Groovik's Cube) and temple builds. He wasn't a lead on these projects, but he also suggested the inner ratchet system like you have. He also told me about the recycled CDs. That cracks me up. BTW, you're being nice...

Re: Electronic Art and Securing Structure
Thanks maladroit! I have 23" x 5/8" lag screws that I used for the "theater room" in 2015. This was directly from previous advice from Figjam and the impact driver was a piece of cake to install and de-install these bolts. I was definitely wondering if an "inner" lag system would be the key for this...

Electronic Art and Securing Structure
I'm finally taking my Burn to the next level. Having taken last year off it left me feeling absent and neglectful, so now I'm trying to make up for my selfish and inconsiderate behavior (resultant from not attending) by offering more than just schwag in 2017. Not that there is anything wrong with sc...
