Any plans on how to best get that last minute ticket?? So far I'm thinking (1) I've "heard" the gas station in Gerlach will be a happening place next week and as far as will call tickets go you almost have to be there to get a deal done safely.......there seem to be some ticket scams happening, and ...

If I can't pay through paypal or go to the gate with the person I wouldn't make the deal..........I've heard a lot about people "saying" they were scammed. It's just too easy to be walking around with a email copy and a fake id.

And he insisted on cash b/c he "doesn't want to get scammed" ..............idk

He said they are will call and he can give me the email confirm, a copy of his ID, an hand written note of sale, and the last 4 digits of the card used to purchase. thanks for the link. It doesn't really specify late arrivals but does mention "after dark" but that could just mean monday night. I just want to make sure the roads wont be closed to cars b/c I've read some posts saying you cannot drive around during BM??

I dont think it's illegal and technically when you sign the contract you acknowledge you will follow their rules (i.e. no off road driving) But being that BM will have it's own post office, street names, ect, maybe it's not really considered "off roading"??? Just fed my dog all kinds of good food from Harrahs buffet (there's so much waste in the land of the overindulged I dont think a few pieces of chicken will matter)......if HE knew I was going to take him to a kennel just to go to a arts fest/rave in the desert he'd probably bite me. lol

I just got into town (reno) and the walmart off mccarran has 55 gallon water drums for $49. I've never seen a walmart with these before. I'm thinking of buying one and using for bathing/cooking ect as 50 single gallons would be about the same price.

I'm at Harrahs in downtown reno with my dog (they're pet friendly) does anyone have a kennel recommendation in the Reno/Tahoe area??? I heard BM has a child day care..........by any chance would BM have a Doggie care????

Has anyone used a ATT air-card on the playa? I might need to do some work and it would be nice if I knew how well these work for internet access.
