Lets also keep in mind when building the strength of winds that blow threw the playa. I would plan to make it indistructable. We built a shelter last year out of wood so that we could burn it before we left, getting rid of MOOP problem.

Here's an idea. Try to find out where in the US it would be cheapest to fly to and then hook up with Burners who are driving. My friends and I drive from NJ every year and we are definitely not the only ones!

You should try to make it to Delaware for Playa del fuego on Memorial day weekend! You will meet burners from all over the Tri state area. Definitely good for networking!!
