Good one Fishy. Really like the glasses and the best part is if you go on their site they include a "dud rate" on their products.

Re: One item for BMan 2014 a day
I've had really good results fixing Playafied tent zippers (and North Pole Shade zippers) with White Lightning Clean Ride wax lube. Patsh, the bottles look like they have a pretty controlled flow, do you just use the brush to spread it or is it better to actually apply with the brush? Also what see...

Thank you AntiM for your post, somewhere along the line, about using a Harbor Freight, I think, mini greenhouse for a pantry. When I came upon one a family member was getting rid of I snatched it up today knowing what it would be perfect for.

Re: One item for BMan 2014 a day
Very cool and thanks a lot. Backpacking mentality, always a struggle for me who wants it all and the kitchen sink. I like the refinement and simplicity. Sadly not my natural state but what I need to balance that frickin heavy sink.

Re: One item for BMan 2014 a day
Thanks Elorrum, when I first saw your post and pics I got to the Maxipedition site and saw their outer containers. Your post was so together I thought it was packaged as one unit rather than individual pieces. Did you get the Condor holder? I like the way you have put it together simplifies and ligh...

Re: Start with what you have. It's easier and cheaper.
I think this thread is so appropriate to bump and continue. It is absolutely fabulous and something all first timers should read. I am so bummed I got vigilant at the end of summer and purged my closets and drawers. I keep looking for cool things this thread inspired and damn they are gone. So much ...

Re: How Many Virgins Do Their Research???
Elliot, you are such a sweetie, I don't think you are ever snarky, You are patient, you are kind.... with all newbies and you can always use my sig. Cap, Well I snark at the new guys because I've been a burner a really long time and I'm far cooler and burnier than they are. I have burner "seniority"...

Re: How Many Virgins Do Their Research???
Being a first timer I have done research on top of research, reading and re reading. I can say until I read the Q & A thread from back to front I did not understand the snarkiness towards "virgin/burgin" questions. What was clear from reading that large number of threads over many years is that it w...

Re: Wheelchair user at Burning Man
Thank you, that's very touching. There are all sorts of wonderful people at the burn and on this board. Eric and Tamarakay are highly recommended. As are dozens of others. I have been in touch with a few people, Tamarakay among them, alas poor Eric you are now added to my hit list. Fishy, your inte...

Re: I like being a "darkwad"
by Captain Goddammit » Sun Dec 08, 2013 4:07 pm Ha! That reminds me of a time several years ago late at night. Some friends (one of them R.I.P. since then) had this huge whale MV… we were both heading to his camp to make margaritas but first we took a cruise around the playa, doing some big circles...

Thank you Mojojita, please do let me know when you have functions, if you would. Wow Lompoc, spent some freezing cold, windy, foggy times down there at soccer tournaments, and back when my son played, football and baseball games. Used to have a really good friend that lived down there on the road to...

Re: Freezing water bottles
Hi, new person here. I've read that you can put the blue ice packs back into a cooler with dry ice and they will refreeze, would this work with soda bottles of water or is that too much mass?

Re: Hello and Welcome... What's your name? Tell me about You
Thanks Ratty, nice to meet you. I am further south, SLO County. I do know a couple of people from the area that come, they are the ones that actually reignited my interest now that family and career are not issues. So Ratty from threads I have read I have a couple of questions for you. 1. How are yo...

Nice Pic, I figured that quote to being pretty pertinent to BM. I think you must be about the most quoted person on signatures on Eplaya
which says a lot.
