Looks like the fire as of 8/22 which was yesterday was 85% contained and far away from the town of Paisley.

Should be no problem any longer.

Re: Hanging hammocks from flat top EMT conduit grid?

Seeing as how I am short on seating, this thread got me thinking. So did some searching for hammocks with no stand. Further reading tells me I want the non-spreader bar type. Anyone have some links to compare to these? Lowes QVC.com Jet.com eBay -ships from China so have to order now... Looking at ...

Re: SquareYurt

What you actually want to do , MFOB, is take your existing H12 and then ALSO build a square yurt. Butt it up against one of the walls of your H12 and you have an outbuilding for more of your stuff. Or build two square yurts flanking the sides of your H12 and it'll become the foam fairytale castle y...

Re: SquareYurt

It ain't lovely. But it would probably work. It's prismatic and would allow a tape ring, making it a yurt of sorts. Here is a quick Onshape mockup in case someone wants to play with wall thickness etc. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/b0d110b5e07ae0654b8a0de8/w/6ddca7c9594f8337f3358e6e/e/2ec998505...

Re: SquareYurt

As an FYI, I have a H12 and have used it for years. Its awesome. But I take so much shit with me and it all goes in the yurt. All I was thinking was scaling it down, most of the tape fucking sucks ass right now and is dried up. So rather than re-tape it all, I could salvage roof triangles and at lea...

SquareYurt

Has anyone tried a 4 sided Insulation "Yurt" Quick brain scan reveals 8(ea) 4' x 8' panels would do the trick. I know about the structural stability of a "hex" but why not a square, I mean they don't build hex houses? I looked on Uncle Goog and saw PlayaPods or something, but I think one could make ...

I built a rack to hang my hammock from out of 1" EMT. Mfob, thanks for the explanation! Could you sketch that, or send a link? Not crazy as I rarely eat BFast anyway. But, There was this one place in a town I lived in long long ago that made amazing BFast ritos.
