Re: Couple looking for 2 people to share RV with
While I agree with Sham that the sleeping and dining set up of most RV's is tight and ideally designed for family (i.e. people who are used to sharing with, and bumping into each other ...), with careful management of the fresh/grey/black water resources a couple can spend an entire burn without hav...

Re: Feathers
Also - you are honestly incredibly lucky if you only saw one beer can as moop on your virgin visit. No ... we did see more ... but that beer can was the first bit! I assume that our eyes were occupied by all the wonder and did miss lots of moop. In fact, despite my best efforts I know that at some ...

Re: Feathers
... Sure, maybe those shambling heaps of MOOP had minions to help pick up every last piece of feather, but we can't expect that the average pillow-filling-wearing sparklepony is going to even bother to use enough glue. ... Re: Feathers
Here's the thing: moop is a really hard thing to keep under control, and people are inherently pigs. Once you get out there you'll see that jerks leave beers in the porta-potties (or beer cans just dumped around them) or in your camp ... I know that our last time in BRC we were wide eyed and awestr...

Re: Feathers
So ... feathers are shite ... because they fall off. Sequins ... much the same. Astro turf ... fuck that! But, what if you could do something to help reduce the likelihood of the feather falling off ... like using a specific type, or attaching it in a certain way, treating it with something, limitin...

We have only been one time (2014). Our entry was delayed for one day due to the rain. We spent it at Pyramid Lake with many others who shared in our great unplanned fortune . As first time burners with a cute (upon reflection) sense of urgency we opted for the "presale" tickets and were happy (of co...

Elliot ... you are, in a nutshell, what made our virgin playa experience in 2014 such an incredible, never to be forgotten experience. Thank you! Thanks AZ and Jovankat. We just recently decided that we will miss this year ... this has caused me much sadness but, at the same time, has allowed me to more thoroughly plan our return. I think I am off the RV route and will spend the next 18 months on an alternative plan. Re: the Carnet ... I have...
